Sailgate Escape / Waterfront Home w/ Covered Dock & Big Views

This home was a dream for our dog. It was pretty small in my opinion. It’s a trailer with a sun room added on. And while there are three bedrooms, I’d only stay here with more than two people if the other people were kids. The place is clean and comfortable and the decor is cute. It had everything we needed. The yard was nice for my dog to roam unattended, but he was also able to go down to the dock unleashed without a problem. It was very quiet and peaceful and we spent most of our time lounging on the dock or cooking on the deck. It was a very nice weekend. My only complaint is that it would have been nice if the deck was swept and the furniture wiped down, but it’s pollen season and it’s under a lot of trees so I’m sure it’s hard to keep clean. Also, the front door needs fixed, it’s very difficult to close all the way so that it locks. Otherwise everything was great.

Overall very functional and clean house. Pros: Very quiet neighborhood from land and water, well equipped, clean, the family room is the gem of the house. Warm water was always available for all 4 of us; kitchen was well stocked. Easy access to water, the dock was a nice place to hang out in the evening. Cons: the front door needs some adjustment to close - we had do magic every day to lock it; no drawers or closets for clothes at all. We rented the house for a week and had to keep all our clothes in suitcases all the time; no washer/dryer is a bummer if you come for a week or longer (especially with no closet space). This is an expanded trailer house and you should not expect much more than that. All the walls are thin and you can hear every sound in every room, the hallway is narrow and rooms felt small. Some walls/ceilings would not object a refresh coat of paint. Would I recommend the house? I think yes. My teenage boys loved the house, and I felt like it was a downgrade from my house and from my expectations. Probably my fault for not looking close enough to see it on pictures. The owners were responsive and kind. The property was clean and as described.

The owners did a nice job of updating this manufactured home (the addition of the dining area and sitting area likely doubled the size). Great booking experience, it was clean and the internet was fast! The wall of windows, facing the lake made it feel very open. All guest were relatively fit but I could see the walk to and from the dock to be challenging for some.

Clean with convenient location

Beautiful view, lovely firepit, Adirondack chairs, bar area, tv area, dining areas and dishes!Very responsive owner and flexibility on check in process!However; bathrooms were tight and the doors leading into the bathroom fell off, so needs some TLC on those fronts. Probably need the maid staff to remember soaps, garbage bags and TP. Just feedback and again a great view and responsive host!

Trailer time

Sailgate was perfect for us. Close to Green Pond Landing for the tournament we were there to watch. Easy access to the area. A lot of deer in the area that were great to watch. We would definitely stay again. WiFi is great for those that work on the road!

Could use some updates and take out some furniture that wasn’t needed they had a sofa at foot of bed and made it hard to get around the bed in master bedroom didn’t have a good chair to set in
