Stayed Feb 18, 2025Cozy, warm, and clean, plenty of beds. Accommodates plenty of people. Very accessible. Maybe a few more/better lights as some areas of the house are dark at night. Had a really good time.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We chose this cabin given the size of the cabin & the need for a number of bedrooms. We were very disappointed to find in the basement that the radon mitigation system was not operating thus we felt the basement space was not accessible to us . We are well aware of radon mitigation systems & why they are necessary. The fan for the system was not functioning so who knows the level of radon in the cabin. This should be addressed before anymore rentals are allowed.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is our second time renting with Morton & Furbish (first time in the winter) and we had another wonderful stay. The house was incredibly clean and matched the description well. It's about a 15 minute drive or less to the Saddleback lodge and about 10 minutes to downtown Rangeley. Morton & Furbish staff are wonderful - we had a few questions upon arrival and they got back to us right away. Thanks again for another memorable stay in Rangeley!

Stayed Mar 10, 2023The house was compact and sleeps a lot of people. Nothing fancy, but the price reflects that. The kitchen was well-stocked (except for no oven mitts and there were only 2 dish towels) and the location was quiet, and beautiful, and a short drive to Saddleback Mountain. Our only complaint was the two bedrooms in the basement - you have to go through one bedroom to get to the other, and you have to go through both bedrooms to get to the downstairs bathroom. (Technically there shouldn't be bedrooms in the basement as there are no points of egress which isn't to code and can be dangerous in case of emergency) That aside, it was a great little place to stay in.

Stayed Jun 23, 2022This was a well equiped home in a unique community. It was very nice being on a lake without a lot of camps or motor boats. The house gave access to community dock, boats, and lawn space. We had a great time exploring the area and relaxing on the beach.

Stayed Dec 26, 2021We had to find last-minute plans due to a cancellation and couldn't have been more pleased by our choice. The house was clean and beautiful (the view of the lake from the living room is amazing) and also provided an ideal location from which to go skiing (Saddleback is just around the corner) or to explore Rangeley. Our days were filled with activity and nights were spent relaxing. What more could you want!?!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The A frame at Saddleback has been our go to Rangeley house for over a decade of fly fishing trips. Clean, inexpensive and loaded with beds, this house is great.

Stayed Aug 2, 2020Great family time at the rental lodge. Pictures on line doesn't do the rental justice. Nicer mountain lodge in person. Only downsize was small kitchen. Had a tropical storm during stay losing electricity and plumbing. Was repaired within 24 hours...very impressive. Fallen trees blocking roads also removed in timely fashion. Rental company very resourceful and honest about property expectations. Highly recommend staying here. Would suggest to note recyclables noted in brown building behind trash dumpsters in personal stay notes.
