Just a ten minute drive to beautiful Yellowstone National Park and only two minutes away from a relaxing soak at the new Yellowstone Hot Springs facility.
We take pride in keeping our vacation home extremely clean and sanitary for all our wonderful guests, with deep cleans to ensure our entire home is sanitized and disinfected after every guest stay.
Our home has plush king size beds in two large bedrooms, comfy spacious bunk beds in the third bedroom, and a separate laundry room for use as needed. The large family room downstairs has a cozy gas fireplace, board games and movies, and a large 72" TV for days/evenings spent relaxing and resting at home. The spacious patios in front and back of the home are perfect for enjoying a morning coffee, barbecuing for friends and family, or spending time wildlife viewing and star-gazing. (It's not uncommon to have wild visitors stop by in the mornings and evenings - deer, elk, eagles, and everything in between).
We're located just a few hundred feet off the local highway, so easy access for all visitors.
We hope to make your Yellowstone visit a memorable one!
Beautiful location. Only problem was the heater took forever to warm up the house.
We stayed at the property for 2 nights and paid a 500$ refundable deposit. The owner withheld $200 from the deposit stating that we left the property dirty.Even though we informed Tara that we took the trash out, took linens to laundry room and besides normal cleaning there wasn't anything else to do. The owner Tara kept claiming that this was not the case and stated that maybe the kids left yellow sticky liquid(she mentioned eggs) on her carpet, rug, furniture and walls. But besides us telling her there were no kids in our group and we dont eat eggs, she did not pay any heed and rudely told us she does not want to communicate any further. I told her that maybe she is mistaken with the dates and it maybe some other group that might have caused damage to her property. There was no response from her. I am very very angry that $200 have been deducted from my deposit even though we left the house in excellent condition. Why should i pay for someone else's deed. Tara did not provide us with any proof that the property required deep cleaning. I am sure she is messing up the dates of stay but just not willing to accept. Or may be she keeps everyone's deposit....who knows I would suggest all of you to stay away from the property.Even though the property is conveniently located and has good scenic views, its not worth losing your deposit.
Loved the peaceful setting. The place was spacious and very, very comfortable. Good hot water, lots of towels, a ton of movies, well equipped kitchen. Close to Gardiner and the north entrance of Yellowstone without having neighbors right around you!
This property was perfect for our three-generational family! Tara and Joe have put lots of TLC into making everything perfect in their home. The photos don't do justice to how roomy the home is. They also don't show the absolutely stunning views of the surrounding nature. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you might want, and all communications with Tara were excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer and also hope to go back someday. It is a true gem!
We absolutely loved everything about Saddle Ridge Retreat! Everything inside and outside was top notch! We were close enough into Gardiner for things yet still felt like we were out of town! It’s very close to the North Entrance of Yellowstone! Definitely would recommend it to anyone! All our needs were met and we loved our time at the house!
Very clean and comfortable home. We loved sitting on the deck or the patio to enjoy the view! Would stay again.
I’m very delayed in getting this review out. However, we love the house and the location. The elk waking us up every morning with their bugle was awesome. Beautiful views. Easy to get to Gardiner and to the north entrance of Yellowstone. Fantastic Wi-Fi as we did some work while we were there. Can’t say enough about the place and Tara as the host was easy to contact. Definitely will plan on staying here again.
We really appreciated the very comfortable beds fully equipped kitchen so we could prepare our meals. The home has beautiful artwork and comfortable upscale furnishings throughout. Very clean and comfortable home in a great location.
We loved our stay at this cozy house near the North Entrance to Yellowstone. House was very comfortable with plenty of space, and all of the essentials. Loved the proximately to Yellowstone and Gardiner, but the privacy of being away from it all. Visits from Elk every morning and evening were a highlight, as was hiking the back hills of the house. Highly recommend a visit to Yellowstone Hot Springs just down the road. Thanks for a great stay!
The home was large, beautiful, and extremely cozy! We arrived at midnight on the day of our stay and woke up to the most amazing views! We had mountain views from every window and were able to view herds of elk across the road. Bring binoculars for spectacular wildlife viewing! The beds were super comfortable. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay! We even had towels to visit the hot springs a few minutes up the road at Yellowstone Hot Springs. YNP, the town of Gardiner, and all the beauty were just a short 10 minutes away. It was super convenient with all the comforts of home! The water pressure from the sinks made washing dishes and your face or brushing your teeth QUITE challenging though. I'm not sure if that can be remedied. The shower was not that bad. We did not venture outside of the property, not even the deck, since it was still very cold and snowy out. The windows need replaced as you you can feel the cold air coming in but thankfully the heat and gas fireplace kept us warm and cozy! Unfortunately, we had to leave after 2 short nights! I loved it there and would definitely return. The host was super nice and communicative! I highly recommend this place!!!
This property was great! Comfy beds, clean, and unbelievable views. Close enough to everything. Sadly not much going on in town as seems to shut down during spring break, but house was great!
Our family spent 3 nights in this beautiful rental after 4 busy days visiting West Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. We couldn’t ask for a more beautiful place to relax and just enjoy the views. Visited Gardiner and Yellowstone hot springs. We all agreed that we would love to come back again. Montana has become my favorite state.
The house is in a perfect location overlooking the Yellowstone River in the front, with high peaks in the backyard and mountain views in all directions. The house was self contained and very comfortable. It made for an extremely pleasant vacation despite Yellowstone Park closing shortly after we arrived due to historical flooding. The hosts, Joseph and Tara, immediately contacted us about the flooding and kept us updated with information from their local contacts. The strong wifi signal in the house allowed us to connect with state and local message boards for up to date information. We were of course disappointed with the park closing; however, we found beautiful day hikes located short distances from the house, including right out the back door. Elk sightings were everyday occurrences, including a herd of 18 or more on morning. Several nights were brisk and clear allowing star gazing in Montan's Big Sky. We will go back again.
We had such a wonderful stay at Saddle Ridge Retreat! There were 10 of us ranging in age from 4 to 73 and we had plenty of room. The house was extremely clean and was very well equipped. Tara was wonderful to work with. We used this as our home base to go in and out of Yellowstone everyday and it was perfect for us. Short drive into Gardiner to pick up groceries or take out. Got to see many elk and an osprey nest from the kitchen window! We couldn't have had a better experience. We hope to stay there again in the future!
Amazing property. Very clean. Owner was available when needed and very friendly. My friends and I had an amazing weekend. Only downside was check out was at 10 am with no flexibility.
Saddle ridge retreat was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the views, and easy access to Yellowstone. This home does not disappoint! Clean, comfortable, well stocked, and plenty of room to enjoy each other or space to spread out for down time. The pictures tell the story; it’s an amazing place. Ten minutes from Roosevelt Arch or ten minutes to enter Tom Miner Basin for grizzly watching. Unfortunately the grizzlies weren’t ready to graze the meadows in the Basin, but come late August, September, they will be there. Watched hundreds of elk (and some mountain sheep) across the road every day. We had big horn sheep on the highway minutes from the house. Can’t wait to plan our next trip and this home will be our first choice definitely. Tara was wonderful to work with; couldn’t ask for more.
