Rye Coastal Retreat w/ Deck & Outdoor Dining

2nd time staying & will do so again! Host is responsive and very nice. The house itself is in a perfect location – – close to Portsmouth as well as the beaches, but you feel like you’re with the locals. House is comfortable & clean. Beds comfy. Definitely check it out!

The house in Rye was perfectly located for our intended purpose which was to see the Blue Angles at PEAS in Portsmouth. It was also close to the beach. The house was beautifully decorative, very well stocked with things you wouldn’t normally expect (beach chairs and beach towel) and more than just salt and pepper for spices. 6 Adults stayed comfortably for 3 nights. We took full advantage of the grill nightly for dinner. I can’t think of anything that I would ask to change. Oh and the heated bathroom floors were key in helping dry out sneakers ;)*side note, we were totally disappointed in the air show so going back to this home was a huge plus.

Beautiful property close to everything definitely a winner

Excellent location, everything was very nice. The modern kitchen was fully stocked and equipped for dining. The accommodations were lovely. I would stay here again! Everything was very comfortable and thoughtful. The bathrooms were spotless and modern as well. Having a luxury washer and dryer, along with laundry pods, was a great touch, too. We did have to purchase coffee grounds; other than that, everything we needed was conveniently ready. Great place and I highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely property in Rye. It was exactly as advertised—the perfect spot for six of us visiting for a graduation at Exeter Academy. Easy enough drive to Exeter, close to restaurants and shops in Rye and Portsmouth. The house was clean and cozy, with a nicely appointed kitchen and bathrooms. We recommend it highly.

From MA, my friends and I went to NH for our annual girls weekend away. We are all over 50 so we wanted a quiet space away from downtown but also wanted ease of access. House is conveniently located to downtown, a short drive to beach, as well as other amenities. Beds were comfortable--firm but soft. I favor a firm bed and the bed was great! House is updated and felt spacious. Had what we needed. Only suggestion would be for a k-cup machine vs a drip machine, but not that big of a deal. Owner was flexible and accommodating for early check-in & check-out. Prompt replies. Check-out process was easy and very reasonable. Would definitely stay again and look forward to it!

Fantastic location. House was even better than photos. Very cozy and comfortable and had everything needed for a wonderful stay.

Property is as listed. Everything you could need or want is available. It was a wonderful stay for our family of 4 (2 toddlers). If we find ourselves in the NH area again, we will definitely be looking to rent this same place.

We had an amazing stay! The house is so beautiful inside, nicely decorated, super clean and has everything you need. Beds are super comfy too! The location is perfect for easy trips to Portsmouth and Kittery. We definitely would love to stay again!

My husband and I stayed at the Sagamore Sanctuary for a north east visit. The house is amazing. The host is so easy to get in contact with. The location is perfect. We went to Maine, Vermont and the mountains in NH. It is absolutely beautiful place to stay. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We stayed at a total of 4 properties while touring New England, and this house - hands down - was by far our favorite! The house was clean, smelled amazing, the beds were comfy and the host was simply wonderful! It was like borrowing the house from a friend. We hope to say here again in the future and very much would recommend this home! **Basement-to-main-floor stairs were a bit steep, so my only caution would be for mobility-challenged travelers. Other than that - highly, highly, highly recommend! Loved it...5 stars!!

House was very clean. As advertised on VRBO. Comfortably fit the 5 of us. Evolve team extremely responsive. Great location. Would definitely stay in the home again if back in the area.

I cannot recommend this property enough. It was exactly what my family and I (husband, 3 year old and my parents) needed- close drive to the beach, back yard for the kiddo, well equipped kitchen, space to enjoy the beautiful weather, comfy living room, convenient laundry right at the entry (great for coming back from the beach), comfy beds, walking distance to the fish market. You can tell that it has been thoughtfully renovated and the design is just lovely. Plus the owner is super communicative and solicitous. We were all quite sad to be leaving our little Rye home- it was a lovely setting for one of the most special summers in our lives.
