This place was great. The owners are gracious and we had an awesome time in Alpine. If you’re needing a place to stay, don’t look anywhere else. This is the place!!

This is a must stay if you are in the area. Very clean and comfortable. So relaxing to sit and watch the animals and enjoy the view of the mountains and stars at night. The host is wonderful and has everything you need for a great stay. We will come back if we are in the area again!!

Unfortunately we only had a single night to spend. We would encourage anyone needing a place in Alpine to stay. Hosts were wonderful, setting was wonderful, place was incredible.

This place was perfect for the two of us. It was clean, decorated nicely and had enough items available that I was able to make food there. The hot tub was clean and worked well. The goats were so fun to watch. Definitely would recommend this place.

Everything was great! Room was very clean and everyone was so friendly. We had the best time hiking Big Bend & shopping in Marfa.

The place was lovely, and there were so many charming things about it! Loved the hot tub, and found everywhere to be nice and clean. We only got to stay for four hours or so, but we enjoyed every minute.

This was our first visit to the Davis Mountain area of Texas and this ranch guesthouse was PERFECT! Clean, quiet, like home feeling! Warmed my heart to find fresh, cage free eggs to cook! Thank you so much for giving us the perfect place to celebrate our Birthdays!!

The host was wonderfully welcoming, and the bungalow was more than sufficiently stocked with all the dishes you could possibly need, a full range of seasonings, a full stick of butter, and a full dozen fresh eggs from the chickens that roam the property. There are goats, too! All very friendly. Lovely hot tub we did not take advantage of, as well as a great fire pit that we did. Gorgeous mountain views. Great place with fairly close access to Big Bend National Park (80 miles away), as well as Big Bend State Park. Alpine is a delightful city with a surprising number of art galleries and kitchy coffee shops. Great stay!

Pet area was perfect with a gated yard for my dogs to roam. Owner had a dog but the dog was not in the back of their house except when we arrived. The kitchen was nice and had lots of extra items like farm fresh eggs and condiments. It was very clean. Host was very friendly. We didn't realize it was a guest house but it turned out to be okay. The goats and chickens were fun!

We have used VRBO for several years. This was the best place we have ever stayed. Beautiful cabin! Beautiful area! We loved the chickens goats and the horse! Owners are very hospitable and welcoming. We will be staying here Again!

This was the perfect pitstop on my road trip. I got to go see the McDonald’s, Observatory and feed goats in the same evening and I couldn’t have had a better night!

Place was so comfortable. Had everything we needed. We lived all the sight seeing and star gazing in the Davis Mountains. Wish we had more time there. The animals in back yard were great. I loved hearing the rooster in the morning. I would definitely stay here agai .

Took a trip to Alpine and Fort Davis! Close to shopping in Alpine, and close to hiking. Could have had fun just hanging with the goats and chickens, (they like apples).

We stayed Feb. 6-8. The property is as described with one exception. It is more perfect than described! Property is clean and neat, arranged very conveniently, and very modern. The owners were very nice and helpful, and had fresh eggs for us to enjoy! Their animals were fun to watch, and it was centrally located to all we wanted to see. Can’t wait to visit again!

Had a great overnight stay here on our way to White Sands. The hosts were friendly and helpful and even invited us to their gathering. Beautiful patio area and well done little guest space. Clean, neat and well stocked. And, my favorite part was the view of the horse, goats and chickens!

It was nice staying at a place away from most people and with little light pollution. The view of the mountains was beautiful, and the hot tube was a nice way to close out a chilly evening.The farm animals were fun to watch, especially the goats! They are real characters. Oh and the chickens donated some fresh eggs that were waiting for us when we arrived.We'll stay here again the next time we venture to west Texas.

We visit Alpine every year. I highly recommend staying at Lisa’s Rustic getaway. It’s on the outskirts of Alpine and very peaceful. I got to see sunrise & sunsets during my walks with my Roxie. The place was great with everything we needed. Thank you!

One of the best stays and experiences I had. The host made us feel at home. The hot tub is itself an experience under the stars. Located centrally to Alpine, so no worries about food. Mcdonads is 5mins away.Close proximity to Big bend and I think best place to stay. We stayed here for 2 nights and we were able to drive 15mins away and found a pitch dark place for some astrophotography. Room is immaculate with everything provided. Also, fresh eggs and milk provided from owners backyard farm. The only drawback is there is significant light polution from the nearby airport

Absolutely beautiful, quaint and ranch-like private guest home with lovely goats, chickens, roosters and a gorgeous horse in the gated property behind the guest house. An incredible hot tub, and thankfully well cleaned . A special treat was fresh eggs in the fridge!.

The property was exceptionally clean, well maintained, quirkily but delightfully decorated and overall wonderful. Just out of town, quiet, peaceful, beautiful and relaxing surroundings. Host was generously accommodating (I was much later checking in than intended), helpful, kind and mostly unseen. Obviously cared greatly for the entire property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We loved the room, space, atmosphere, and especially the animals. Our old lady Great Dane enjoyed laying in the grass and watching the animals as well. We also enjoyed cooking the fresh eggs you left for us in our refrigerator! We hope to visit again. Thank you!

Nice, comfortable and clean. Cute little place. Well stocked, plenty of towels. We were only there one night, but enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return.
