Rustic modern 8 bedrooms, 8 baths, spacious great room, amazing outdoor space!

We had the best stay ever at your Tangle Root Lodge. The house is absolutely stunning and spacious and furnished with high end amenities. Long dining room table for puzzles and games. We equipped and open kitchen design. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all fabulous. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace area even on a cold, snowy, blustery night!What a special family experience/memory we will never forget. I highly recommend renting the Tangle Root Lodge.

WOW! Everything about this house was perfect! The house and outdoor space was pristine! We hosted our family for an end-of-summer gathering, and all were in agreement that we would love to stay here again. The Saugatuck area is amazing in itself, but there was so much to do at the house (yard games, outdoor music, outdoor fireplace and seating), we found ourselves not wanting to leave. We highly recommend!!

This is our second summer visit to Tangled Root. We loved it so much, we came back and it did not disappoint! The kids love running around and playing sports outside. A short bike ride to downtown and lovely shops. We had a lot of fun swimming in the lake. It is perfectly situated!! Will definitely visit again.

Our group of 15 had such an amazing time at the Tangled Root. It’s well-stocked, and everyone was very comfortable the entire weekend. The property is gorgeous, peaceful and secluded. Hands down one of the best rentals we’ve stayed in.

The property was spacious, clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location was conveniently located and Sara was very helpful.

Family fall getaway and it was wonderful. The home was just excellent.

The house and property had everything we needed and more. We had several people with mobility issues and there were no problems accessing the house, rooms, or outdoor areas. The furnishings, appliances, and amenities far exceeded our expectations. The house is close to tourist attractions and downtown, yet still felt secluded and private. Our group ranged from 1 year old to 73 and everyone had a great time! Highly recommend!

Great property. Lots of amenities that are high quality. Very functional kitchen. Super location for area activities. Kids really enjoyed games (foosball and basketball particularly) and activities (s’mores making) that were available on the property. Bedrooms and bathrooms are well apportioned. Our entire group of 17 ranging from 2-87 years of age thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Property manager/owner very responsive.

Tangled Root is a marvelous gathering place. Indoors there is plenty of room for a large group, although it could use more sound absorption for our loud family. The outside offers so much wonderful space for sitting and talking or playing games. We enjoyed being close enough to town to walk in, but far enough away to enjoy privacy and nature. Just loved the tall trees at the edge of the property. Thanks for your creativeness.

We had such a great time here. Great outdoor space for kids to play games, grill and hang out. The space was very comfortable for a big group and well appointed. Property manger and owner very responsive. Easy to bike downtown and very close to two great beaches. Very cute shops and galleries. Really loved it and would go back in a heartbeat.

Lovely setting, beautiful architecture. Plenty of space for our family members. We utilized all of the outdoor games available there and the proximity and access to other venues. The lovely shelter out back with its wood burning fireplace was enjoyed every evening! We created great memories!
