The house was lovely and the bedrooms comfortable and all with electric fans which were needed in the heat. The kitchen is small but well equipped. The large fig trees in the garden provided fresh figs which were sweet and tasty and also had a lovely hammock slung between them. You will need a car or bicycles to get around the island. The area is beautiful but prices on the island are higher than the mainland. There are loads of beaches to explore and it is great for walking, cycling, swimming and snorkelling. Unfortunately the bicycles that were at the house were not in a usable condition but it is possible to hire bikes at several places on the island. There were a lot of mosquitos around which we did not find elsewhere. This was probably due to the drain of run-off water from the hills which is at the front of the property.
