Down home friendly owners who communicated well with us. We will definitely be staying here again.
Nice place! We’ll be back next year
If you have allergies you may want to reconsider staying here. The mustiness due to the age of the home and maintenance/cleanliness level made it difficult for me to breath.
The house was AMAZING! So unique and we got historical information from the owner. I sort of expected the house to be in the country, but it is located in a run down part of town. BUT the rest of the town is cute and quaint. Historical and has a great coffee shop! The owner is planning on purchasing surrounding property to clean up that side of town. Loved how affordable it was and how close to the caves and the corvette museum it was! We would stay again! :)
It was like walking into the old houses of my childhood! The beds were comfortable, but the king bedroom door neither latched nor locked.
We had such a great time staying here. Lots of room and very charming. Hosts are extremely kind and helpful.
This rental was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the uniqueness of this property. It was clean and had what we needed to cook our meals.
As another reviewer noted, this is the mystery house and that is part of the joy of being in this house. We had three families (college friends) gather in Russellville to see Mammoth Cave, and we enjoyed our time at home at the Garden House. There are lots of places to hang out, lots of room inside and out for the kids to enjoy themselves. The neighborhood is quiet, having only a few real neighbors and a number of daytime businesses which are more than a stone's throw away. The owner was very receptive to questions and feedback. We had no problems with the house, but the owner was more than willing to have a pleasant conversation on the phone to answer a few questions which we could not answer from the provided rental material. The house was quite clean and everything was tidy. We had 11 people in our group and while we had to make some seating adjustments to get us all together at the dinner table, it was not a problem, and we had plenty of dishes, flatware, and glasses to go around.
We called this the mystery house because of the various room connections and odd layout. It was clean and overall a very good experience.
Words cannot describe how beautiful this house is. Quiet neighborhood and the owner quickly answered any questions or concerns we had. 10/10 would recommend. The stained glass is amazing!
