Rue with a View – Picturesque Mountain Views

The view and cabin held up to the listing! My family and I enjoyed our stay. The only issue I had was entering the cabin on the first night. It was hard to see it was a keypad entry in the dark, but once I pressed the pad the numbers lit up.

The just was amazing and stayed in contact as soon as I messaged. The place was clean and had tons of household items.

We had an amazing time at this cabin! The road leading up was paved, so it was easy to get to, and the view was absolutely astonishing. The cabin had everything we needed and more, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. We traveled with our 1.5 year old, and the gate at the top of the stairs gave us great peace of mind. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!

The view is fabulous, older home but had everything we needed. I was not opening the door correctly called and Derek answered my call right away and told me what I was doing wrong! He is very nice and friendly. We plan to go back next year, I love the area as my ancestors are Vandivers and Pooles.

Wonderful home. The view is spectacular. It is a great getaway in a small town that is warm and friendly. You must stay here at least once.

Everything was great. The fireplace was out of gas, so that was disappointing.

Great stay

A beautiful secluded cabin with a beautiful view. Only 5 minutes from the town of Clayton. Cabin came with practically everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The jet tub, fireplace, and video games were also nice to have! My family and I really enjoyed our stay. If we come back to this area we would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at RWAV. Amazing views and good location for a basecamp. Will definitely visit again!

Check in process was smooth owners accommodated us to check in earlier which was amazing since we drove from south Florida overnight. The drive up was not bad at all- follow the instructions provided and you’ll be fine. We’ve stayed in the area before with much more steep and limited space. The cabin is perfect. Cozy and comfortable. Plenty kitchen gadgets and coffee mugs. I’d definitely return here in the future.

We stay at Rue with a Vue because that’s what it is. The cabin is easy to reach, paved roads. It is so comfortable and homey. Absolutely the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. It’s well maintained and the owner is very accommodating and helpful if you have questions. Thank you, Derek

Very clean

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rue with a View and the pictures did not do our view there justice. We loved every morning and evening sitting outside and enjoying our time in such a beautiful landscape. Everything was clean and comfortable and the hosts were amazing and quickly responded to any questions I had. Definitely 5 of 5 stars!

We really enjoyed our time here and I expect to return with local friends very soon! A really beautiful property and well stocked accommodation that has everything you need for a relaxing weekend.
