The sleeping quarters, located on the lower level, feature three bedrooms with King beds and one bedroom with two Full beds, ensuring a luxurious and comfortable stay for all guests. The two east-facing King bedrooms boast private balconies and lake views.
Additionally, the Bonus Room under the garage building offers a full size pool table, couches, and a Wii gaming system, with a window perfectly placed to take in the picturesque scenery. Guests of this unit also have access to two private beaches, one North and one South of the unit, offered by the Rubicon Homeowners Association. Each beach is equipped with a pier, designated swimming area, and swim float. The South Beach also has a volleyball court, making it the perfect spot for a beach day with friends and family.

ABOUT THE AREA
Rubicon Bay is located on the majestic West Shore of Lake Tahoe in an area known as the “Gold Coast.” Positioned just south of Meeks Bay and Sugar Pine Point State Park, this area is known for its seclusion. The sun-drenched sandy beaches and awe-inspiring views of Lake Tahoe have kept visitors coming back for generations.
Choose the difficult but rewarding Rubicon Peak Trailhead at the back of this neighborhood, or take a short drive to Meeks Bay Marina or D.L.Bliss State Park for alternate hiking, biking and snowshoe options. Homewood Mountain Resort is only 8 miles North, proving you can have seclusion and convenience.
This home is not in South Lake Tahoe. On a summer day, it may take a 30 minute drive, but renters should note that in winter months, the highway between this home and South Lake Tahoe often closes.
POLICIES AND DISCLOSURES:
1. Maximum daytime and nighttime occupancy is 8 adults, excluding children under twelve (5) years of age. Sleeping Arrangements for 8.
2. No Garage Access. Parking for 3 vehicles. Street parking is prohibited year-round.
3. 4WD is strongly encouraged in the winter months as the road up to the home is a steep grade.
4. The TV in the Game Room is used for the Wifi gaming system and is not set up to a cable tv network.
5. Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
El Dorado County Regulations:
1. Quiet hours must be observed between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
2. Occupancy is limited between 10 PM and 8 AM.
3. Maximum occupancy is enforced at all times.
4. Any violations may result in a fine.

The house was lovely and perfect for several generations of family. The location was perfect for us to enjoy swimming, boating snd hiking. Hope to be back again!
Loved our time at 9064 Woodland in Tahoma. The well equipped kitchen, private Rubicon beach access and convenient west shore location were only outdone by the epic mornings and evenings spent on the deck. Truly an unobstructed view from King's Beach all the way to Heavenly Valley.
The view from this home is absolutely gorgeous! Waking up every morning to beautiful sunrises and a view of the lake were breathtaking! The kitchen is fully stocked, which made it easy to cook everything we had planned! There were plenty of games available to play with everyone and we really enjoyed the game room. I hope to visit again in the summer when we can dine out on the gorgeous deck! We made memories that will last a lifetime!
I really hate to leave a bad review...honestly. Under normal circumstances I just carry on because life is too short to put energy towards a negative. The issue I have here is that I wasn't given the benefit of the doubt, and therefore I have trouble giving the owner/property manager the same. First day there, I got a call asking if I brought a service dog. Second day I got several calls and voicemails stating that I had 11 people in the home. There is an 8 person occupancy maximum...and I was notified that this breach of contract could result is fines and possible eviction. However, we only had our 8 guests + the 1yr old, which was approved prior to booking. We did not have any guests over during the day or night. So where did the 11 people come from? Well, someone lost count when watching the cameras...or counted someone after they did an outfit change. Look I understand that being an owner is a big responsibility, and people probably try to take advantage where they can. I would have appreciated a call where we talked about the concerns, rather than being accused of breaking the rules before given the chance to discuss. In the end it was just annoying to have to figure out how to prove that we only have 8 people. I worked it out with the management company and life went on. Other than that, the house is very nice and the views of big blue are incredible! The game room is perfect to get together after a day on the mntn. Thank you for letting us use your house, I promise only 8 people got to enjoy it :)
House was perfectly located, beautiful in and out, could not have asked for anything better
Stayed with my family (5 adults and a baby) over the Easter weekend and it was amazing! The house was very clean, well decorated and comfortable. The view of the lake from the big deck was beautiful and you could also watch the sunrise from the bedroom patios. The house had everything we needed so we never left except to check out the private beach! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
