R&R Lake Retreat

Beautiful and brand new house, property and house were immaculate! We loved loved loved it!!!

We had the best 4 night vacation with friends and family here. Tons of room. We had elementary school aged children and they had a blast with the kayaks, water toys, and fishing. The house is basically in its own private cove so no worries of boat traffic so parents could relax a little. We didn’t want to leave. I will 100% rent this again!

This was our second time visiting the Lake from MD. The house, location and amenities were wonderful. We wanted for nothing! The owner even rented us his boat for a day. I highly recommend this house for a relaxing time on the Lake. We stayed for my son's graduation from USC. Very short drive to campus! It was a perfect way to wrap up his college years.

We spent Thanksgiving weekend with our boys from USC. It was a perfect space for the family gathering and close to Columbia so we could get to the football game. It’s a beautiful, well maintained house with a great view and the hosts provide lots of extras like toiletries, snacks and kitchen supplies. I definitely recommend it!

The photos of this home are great but don’t truly do it justice. Randy and Robin have a beautiful home with ample space for large family trips. They go above and beyond with the little details. Loved having the hygiene supplies in each bathroom. A missing toothbrush didn’t send us running to the store. Plenty of towels and pillows for everyone and even the laundry and kitchen supplies were more than expected but greatly appreciated. The home was well cleaned and supplied with plenty of outdoor toys for all of the kids to enjoy in the lake. We loved taking the kayaks out on the lake. The cove is a perfect setting too. Deep enough to swim, but little to no boat traffic so you don’t have to feel worried about little ones getting hit. Lots of small brim and small mouth bass fishing off the dock meant EVERY kid caught at least a few fish. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay! We will definitely be back!

We have rented houses for our July 4th vacation for the past 19 years and this was one of our favorites! The house is gorgeous with plenty of room for more than one family. The raised deck offers a beautiful setting for dining or just relaxing. The lower covered patio is great for grilling and corn hole. The dock was large enough to accommodate 2 boats and the cove is quiet and perfect for swimming.

The house and the location are excellent! We came as a group of 8 with mature kids. Every person had their own space and were very comfortable. The house is Amazing! It's brand new. Everything we need was there. And we always do VRBO's. We brought our own jetskis, were able to rent the pontoon boat from the owner/manager. Very nice and accommodating people. Swam in the lake, did some fishing, catch and release, wakeboarding, balloon ride with jetskis. The house is absolutely excellent. Smart TV's. Smart appliances. Shops, stores, restaurants everything is nearby. That lake is amazing! We are definitely coming back to Lake Murray. You can easily get lost there. Make sure you have charged phone and navigation. No loud noise in a cove of the house,, or speeding up on jet skis. Be respectful to neighbors. Thank you so much for making everything so perfect for our stay!
