Royston Lodge - Dog-Friendly Halls Gap Getaway

House was amazing for the 5 of us, very well equipped, nothing more you could ask for. Was also extremely appreciative that when the catastrophic day was called the host reached out to us to ensure we were informed and really cared about our safety.

Well equipped kitchen and bathroom updated well. Bedrooms lacked for extra heating and lounge chairs not comfortable for an elderly mother. Very convenient location close to walks and town centre.

Love the cottage and our two nights stay, very close to everything. Warm cozy vibe. Accommodated our pet dog very well, she really enjoyed roaming around the woods and running after Kangaroos . We had 10 of us at the place but all were well accommodated with spacy living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. We used the converted two couches as one of the bunker bed was a bit wobbly but those two sofas were comfortable for a good sleep when converted as single and double beds. We will definitely go back again, thanks Paula for the stay.

The property was great. It was clean warm and the kitchen has a great selection of utensils.

Great house, so many hidden extras. Loved the fire place, endless supply of wood, coffee machine, heated bathroom tiles, great access to pots and pans and most importantly morning visitors of the birds and wild life. Affordable accommodation, very happy with stay

Great place close to town but with nice privacy.

We had a very relaxing weekend. The property is very comfortable and very well equipped. It has a lovely terrace where you can watch the wildlife while having your favourite beverage, that's what I call relaxing and unwinding. The location of the property is fantastic, in the middle of the forest and close to the beautiful walks which we have in Grampians, another relaxing aspect. Lovely, clean and spacious home. Love that it was child-friendly and pet friendly! Children enjoyed feeding the birds in the mornings with the bird seed provided. Such a beautiful and quiet spot, and we found the dog run handy during the days. Plenty of space and beds for our 2 families (4 adults, 6 children). Thank you, Paula!

We were booked for the week of Xmas 2024, unfortunately bushfires in the national park, and an evacuation notice for Halls Gap, meant unfortunately we had to make last minute alternative plans. Paula was fantastic with communication during this time, and kept us well informed. We will be receiving our refund soon., and plan to rebook in the future.

Gorgeous modern kitchen and bathroom. Lovely decking. Convenient resources in the kitchen, ie. Oils, herbs, salt and pepper, coffee machine. Nothing worse than needing to shop for the basics for cooking. Kitchen is heavily equipped with everything you need.

Great home for a group of friends or family. The setting is remarkable. We had daily visits from kangaroos and emus along with all of the local birdlife. The kitchen is the best in any short stay rental I’ve ever been in. Highly recommend.

The Grampians is a lovely area to stay.It is very suitable for young and fit people as there are many walks and sites to see.Highly recommended. Regards John, Mary and family.

Second times stay, very consistent standard

We stayed for 3 nights with our dog and really enjoyed the house and the area. The home owner was really nice and communication between us and her was excellent

Wonderful place to stay. We had an amazing week here with our 11 year old son and dog. So peaceful yet close to everything. The house has all you need and our hosts were very lovely. We hope to be back soon.

We had the most relaxing fun times. We love visiting Halls Gap and the homecwe stayed in was the best by far. Beautiful home, everything you woyld need. Breathtakung views. A huge thankyou to the owners. We had the best time.

We loved our stay at Royston lodge. Waking up to kangaroos in the morning then having cockatoos sitting on our shoulders trying to pinch our breakfast! It was amazing and the morning sun on the deck was beautiful. We also enjoyed the log fire and warm showers.

Lovely location, kitchen was everything we needed. The local roos come up real close and the kookaburras serenaded us with their beautiful song.

I would recommend this property for a satisfactory stay. Only down fall was the amount of animal fur left behind from pet's. But I guess it's to be expected in pets welcome accommodation.

This was the perfect place for the 4 of us to stay during my husband and I elopement. It was cosy plenty of space for us all.

Paula was amazing to deal with. The property was better than I expected. Location, outlook, peace and quiet, beautifully renovated kitchen and bathroom, cleanliness, access to internet and smart TV. You can connect your songs to the house speakers, good quality appliances and cutlery and plenty of it. Had all Meals watching Kangaroos and Kookaburras. Absolutely will be back. Highly recommend.
