Stayed Apr 10, 2025Good location, spacious and comfortable, clean, good communication leading up to check in. However, while eating breakfast, we realized the kitchen and great room had a very strong smell of wet dog. When our other family members arrived, they all mentioned how they smelled a wet dog. My husband generously sprayed Febreeze around the kitchen and great room. There are two showers in the home. The shower in the bathtub did not work properly, and the diverter only allowed a small trickle to come out of the shower, which made it unusable. We had 7 adults who had to get ready for a rehearsal dinner and all had to use a single shower. When this was brought to the attention of Renter's Club, they said they would send someone over to fix the shower. We informed them we had 7 adults who needed to get ready the next day for a wedding and needed 2 showers. We also asked them to address the strong wet dog odor. There was no subsequent communication from Renter's Club and the shower was never fixed. They may have needed a plumber or part to fix the shower so it was not an immediate fix, but there was ZERO follow up communication. I do not know if they actually sent someone over as promised. We think the wet dog smell may have been solved by my husband's generous treatment of the space with Febreeze. We will never know as all communication stopped once we mentioned the issues.

Stayed Oct 11, 2024My husband, 3 teenagers and I stayed here for the weekend because we had tickets to ACL. The location is great and the house is big with plenty of room for everyone. The downside was that it is very dated and not very clean (especially the bathrooms and the kitchen). It was quiet and has great potential, but we were disappointed given the amount we paid for three nights.

Stayed Jun 13, 2024Nice neighborhood and good home, but there were some inconveniences. Electronic door lock didn’t work. Master bedroom has no closet or dressers. Master bathroom door latch didn’t work at all. Maintenance never came to fix the door lock.

Stayed May 9, 2024We went for my daughter’s graduation from UT and enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We loved it. The house was heart warming and very clean.

Stayed Apr 6, 2024We flew into Austin for four days to see the eclipse. It’s a great town. The place was near the airport and downtown - 15 min ride away. We saw the bats at dusk and enjoyed the Riverwalk. We loved the statue of Angelina Eberly. The place was very nice. WiFi worked great. Big common area and four great rooms. No propane in the fire pit, but we didn’t miss it.
