Beds are comfy and it was pristine clean. The kitchen is very well stocked and the living room comfortable. What stood out was the general vibe of this house - not your traditional bland vacation rental - it feels like a happy house. We will come back.

We overall had a very nice stay at this property. The house was very well stocked with all the pots and pans and spices one might need for cooking. All Bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs, and the living area and kitchen is upstairs. As others have pointed out, it can definitely use a deep clean, especially in the living area with the large couch, and the fire place that stated it would be cleaned. And perhaps upgrading to a newer couch as it is the ONLY gathering place in the house, and it can use some TLC. Given the fact that the house is supposed to be cleaned after each stay, maybe it is time for a new cleaning crew, so it can truly clean the areas that clearly keep getting missed. Also, another fix is to seal the shower door, as water was leaking through the door of the shower in the small bathroom, so water was all over the floor after each shower.

We especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen with lots of cookware and also spices and other essentials. There was heavy storms during our stay but the fireplace and extra wood kept us warm. House was generally clean upon arrival but could definitely use a deep clean behind beds and furniture. Also may want to consider upgrading to a newer couch since that is the only central gathering spot. Otherwise great experience!

Large fenced back yard and very centrally located.I didnt understand the bear fence until we came home one night and saw a huge bear scamper across the road. I get it now.
