Host was very welcoming. Easy check in , house was extremely clean . Lovey home with a fantastic view from all levels . Restaurant close by in Carpentaria and Ventura however we only left once because we loved it so much . House has everything you need and then some . We will return!

The house is very comfortable and has an epic view. The sound of the waves, the sunsets and comfortable beds and super nice little touches like robes, a lot of fluffy towels and plenty of supplies. The host was helpful and prompt in replying to questions. Beautiful place to spend Thanksgiving for sure.

The house is absolutely amazing! It is a cozy 2 bedroom. There are 2 fireplaces - one in living room and other in master bedroom. They made for a romantic setting. The house is located on the beach! Plenty of outside furniture to lounge and watch the sunset! House had everything we needed.

Location, location, location

we have stayed at this property for five or six seasons. We love everything about the house/deck/hot tub and seaside ambiance. We plan on coming back every year.

A magical, clean and comfortable place

Gorgeous views. Perfect for 2 to 4 people. Kitchen small but well equipped. The house is very clean but area rugs need cleaning, bar b que needs some maintenance and some repairs to patio umbrellas.

Amazing experience, great host will come back

Beautiful beachfront property with epic views across the Pacific to the Channel Islands National Park islands of Santa Cruz Island and Anacapa. At high tide the shore laps right up to the concrete wall securing the property from the surf; at low tide, a beach is down a single stairway from the massive deck. Sunset was a nightly spectacle of peach, orange and magenta, witnessed from the comfy deck chairs. The Milky Way was brilliant from the hot tub. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds comfortable, the bathroom amenities of the highest quality. One very very small issue arose (we needed a coffee grinder!) and the owner replied instantly, and solved the problem within twelve hours, delivering a brand-new one to the porch. Everything was recently painted or newly purchased. Nice place!

The house was perfect for what we needed! We love that it’s on the beach. Enough room outside. It had all the amenities, beach toys, and towels.

Wonderful visit with the family. House is well equipped and an amazing location. As others described, tide affects whether you can access the sand / ocean, but it is an easy walk to Mondos Beach on the road all day.

We have all had a challenging 2 years and needed to share some beach time! Everything was great and the house is beautiful. Great views from all floors. Only negative was overnight traffic noise in guest room. W/be a good issue to fix. Guest room the trfrom the guest room

The location couldn't have been better. The home is beautiful especially the views, both from the deck and from the master bedroom. Access to the beach is very convenient and the surfing area is great for beginners and those more experienced. The only recommendation I would make is to replace the umbrella stands. The screws to hold them are all rusted and not functional at all. We had a fairly strong gust and the umbrella blew out of the stand into us, which could have been dangerous, but we grabbed it and there was no problem. All is all , we did have a wonderful family gathering to celebrate our 50th anniversary in a beautiful location, especially for an old surfer from the 60's and my wife who was raised in imperial beach. We now live in the mountains of Prescott, AZ, but we are still drawn to the beach at least a couple of times a year and this home was a great choice.

There were rodent traps in the kitchen when we arrived. During the night, a rodent got into out groceries and ate several items. When we woke up, there was fecal matter on the counter and in other places. We packed up and left the house.
