Location was excellent, easy drive to nearby attractions. Hot tub was heated & waiting upon our arrival- great after the drive up. Directions to property were detailed & accurate.
Second time staying here and will be back! Love the location and love this house and the host is so nice and communicates so well. Had friends come in for one night too and we relaxed, went hiking, and used the amazing hot tub. Love that they are dog friendly and lots if cute places to go near there for that small.town mountain feel...or just stay at the house and relax and the perfect back porch or fire pit! Thanks for a great time once again!
The house was very inviting and had everything we needed. From the screened in porch, to the fire pit, to the hot tub, we enjoyed our time taking in the fall foliage with our dogs and son. The drive up the mountain is relatively easy (we followed the host’s directions, but Google Maps actually navigated us right to it), the surrounding area is beautiful (highly recommend Lake Junaluska and Waynesville nearby) in Maggie Valley and your so close to amazing hikes, breweries and restaurants. Definitely would stay again.
Beautiful get away, clean home, great communication!
The cabin was very nice and cozy. Had a little trouble with the tv but eventually figured it out. Anaheim thing probably. Would go back
Excellent
Brandon’s tree cabin was the perfect sanctuary for my family of 4 on our weekend ski/snowboarding getaway at Cataloochie. It was a very special weekend as it was my kiddos first introduction and experience snowboarding. After a day on the slopes it was an amazing cap to the day to be able to soak in the hot tub, overlooking the mountains, listening to the rustling water from the nearby stream, watching the sunset with the family with a glass of wine in my hand! The cozy cabin is just a few miles from Cataloochie and super clean. I typically walk the floors of vaca rentals in my white socks, and this place passed my sock test - socks were clean as could be! Thanks so much Brandon for the great accommodations and communication. Great memories with the wife and kids locked in and loaded. Would definitely come back again.
Wonderful cabin up on the mountain. Owner was excellent with communicating road conditions for our arrival (as it had been snowing and ice the previous days) and this made getting there easy. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.
Overall it is a very nice place that was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 kids, and golden doodle). There were some items found from the previous guest that were of a personal matter left under one of the beds. Kids with toys we check before we leave and that’s when the items were found. On the first night after giving the kids their bath (both together), my wife ran out of hot water while taking her shower (5-10 minutes). The number listed to text or call was texted being thanksgiving week and around 8-9 at night. No response from that number during our time there. I don’t know if it’s an old number or not but it was the same number listed to call before we stayed. I had sent a message to that number also before we went and it was never returned. Responses on VRBO were answered. We just spaced out bath and shower times so the hot water heater could catch up. Overall very nice place and enjoyed our stay.
Great place, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was amazing! The owner was great to work with. Lots to do in the area. We then relaxed in the evenings with the firepit and then the hot tub.
We were super impressed by the cleanliness of the property, home and hot tub! We enjoyed our stay and would stay at one his properties again. Brandon is very thorough and attentive, from the moment of booking through the last day of your stay. He gave us clear directions to the property that led us straight there with no issues. Highly recommend this home or any of his other rentals! We had the most amazing Anniversary, thanks to having the perfect rental, where it began! Thanks Brandon.
Coming eeeup on our 32nd anniversary, we needed a relaxing break in the mountains. Our pups came with us (Great Dane and Boerboel) and everyone was content. The hot tub was put to good use! With
First of all Brandon the property owner was great. He always replied quickly and was very honest snd attentive to our needs. The wow factor for me was the screened in porch with beautiful trees. The hot tub was great. It rained all week so it was awsome to hop in after excursions when we were wet or cold. Everything was clean and well stocked. The check in and out process is seamless. I would definately stay here again.
We were very satisfied with the house and property. The place was clean, comfortable and accommodating. We hope to sneak back again soon.
Cute cabin in the trees, challenging drive in but that's common.
Everything was exceptional in this rental….
My husband, myself and my daughters small family and our sweet pup got to enjoy this beautiful home for almost a week. Cozy, clean and private with all the amenities we wanted. Plans made while soaking in the hot tub, laughter in the living room, shopping and fun in the the Valley and close areas of Cherokee and Waynesville. We surely made the most of our trip. Brandon was ever so helpful when we took a wrong road, so grateful for his assistance and patience. Highly recommend this beautiful place for your next mountain experience! The Moores
We needed a place to relax and get away from the city life and this was the place. I liked the open kitchen/living room layout, so everyone could be together. The bed was so comfortable and several nights we just listened to the rain or the wind/beautiful Mother Nature noises blowing throughout the trees. The little mountain roads were fun to slowly navigate and Mr. Brandon was always a text msg away...communicating with us. Momma, Tony and our tiny PeaNUT will be back and note: this place was very clean. The hot tub was a nice treat..... Definitely 5 stars!!!!!
This was the perfect spot for a getaway with my wife for the weekend. Hot tub was great and loved that it had some seclusion around it since there are a couple cabins nearby the property. Quiet area, the cabin was clean, loved the fireplace, and the bed slept great. The screened porch area was nice as well. You wouldn't even know any other cabins are around you when sitting out there. Communication with Brandon was great, we had a power outage overnight the first night, a tree had fallen and most of Maggie Valley was out of power. He responded quickly the next morning with an update on the situation going on. Power was back on we returned to the cabin that afternoon. We had a great time, just wish our stay could have been a few days long. Would definitely look at booking again for hopefully a longer stay!
