We chose this as a midpoint to meet for an early family Thanksgiving. The home was very clean, beautifully decorated and provided more than enough room for us to gather as a group. It also had enough separate lounging areas and TVs for us to branch off for individual entertainment since we ranged in ages 9 to 80.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great accommodations, safe location, and close to many restaurants and our boy’s college.

Property is nice and well-kept. Hosts were very kind and great to work with. Would stay here again.

We were in town with our son and his family of two young kids to visit our other son and family and kids. Roman's Retreat was the perfect location for the weekend activities. The owner was good to communicate, quick to respond, flexible for check-in and check-out and easy to work with. We didn't spend much time at the house except to sleep and eat breakfast. But it was very close to my son's home and fit our needs. The beds were comfortable and we slept well after our busy days. We will definitely try to stay here again if we are back in town as a family.

Property is close to Fort Liberty. Clean and plenty of space for the 4 of us. Loved the farmhouse decor. Driveway was very steep so we parked on the road which wasn’t a problem for us but might be a problem for the elderly or disabled
