This bayside canal cottage is ready for maximum relaxing and fishing, boating and waterside FUN complete with available boat slip in desirable Sea Isle! So many options to enjoy an activity plentiful island vacation at the coast!



The Space:

Inside you'll appreciate the light and bright living space with high-ceilings and updated kitchen including wraparound peninsula island with Quartz counters - perfect for preparing and presenting your favorite dishes!



Outside on the ground level is set up to fish (and catch) from the private covered boat dock & relax in the spacious patio/entertainment area including hot tub. The yard is fully fenced, and there is a large side yard ready for running around and playing games by pups and/or kiddos!

~ 2nd bedroom with King bed and luxury hotel bedding (sleeps 2)

It's easy to stay with us and secure too! Access the home electronically at 4pm on the date of your arrival with your unique lock code that we specifically give only to you via text and email. Your code is live from 4pm on your arrival date until 11am on the date of your departure.



The Neighborhood:

Sea Isle is a beautiful community, located about 12 miles from Galveston's seawall, often referenced as the West End. It has that laid back beach flavor perfect for your getaway. One of the popular neighborhood hot spots is the West End Restaurant & Marina which frequently offers live music, plenty of tvs airing different sporting events/games, good food, and tasty cold beverages. There is also access to the public beaches (3), boat ramp, marina, park, basketball courts, seasonal swimming pool (Sea Isle POA charges $100/week for amenity pass, available from the office during normal business hours, Memorial Day through Labor Day, subject to change) and tennis courts, so guests get an opportunity to experience the benefits of both the Gulf and Bay sides of the island.



Getting Around:

The Sea Isle community offers a small convenience store by the Marina, Sea Isle Supermarket, located on Termini-San Luis Pass at Nueces Drive. Heading back towards Galveston and just before Jamaica Beach is a Chevron convenience store, Seven Seas Grocery if you need extra items or forgot something while in town. Also, you'll find in Jamaica Beach, West Grill & Pizzeria, Buck’s West, Shrimp & Stuff Food Truck then Dollar General, Waterman’s Restaurant, Hummel’s Convenience Store & Deli, Mario’s Pizza, Woody’s Bar, Lucky Way Food, Gas & Liquor Store, Seahorse Grill and Jack’s Pub before you get to Galveston's seawall.

When you rent a 979 home, you'll also receive the 'comforts of home' guest welcome starter supply of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, tp and paper towels, dishwasher and clothes washer pods. We want your stay to be as easy as you do, and the 979 Crew aims to deliver on that commitment. We love our island guests!



PUP-FRIENDLY:

Bring Fido(s)! We welcome your furry friends (aka family members). Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed at this home, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee of $100 per dog per stay.



WIFI/TV SERVICE:

Our properties include WIFI/Internet and TV service for your streaming services. Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!



979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:

All 979 rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - and good news, No Security Deposit Required!



CANCELLATION POLICY:

When booking direct with 979, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations. After 24 hours, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.



Reservations made on 3rd party channels/OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, Hopper etc may be subject to terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. When booking through a 3rd party channel, the cancellation policy you agreed to at the time of booking is the cancellation policy on your reservation.

    Everything was clean, clean rooms, clean dishes, clean grounds. The host was very communicative. The hot tub was in great condition and working order. The hot tub was very clean. We loved it! Our stay was an amazing place to make memories. Also, can’t forget the fishing in the canal! The fishing was awesome! We caught trout, redfish, flounder. Thank you for our stay!

    This place is great. The hosts are always very responsive to any issues that may arise. We loved the hot tub as usual, and especially the fully fenced yard and their general friendliness to dogs. The addition of a kayak was awesome! We stayed here last year and and they didn't have one then. The fire pit downstairs was nice to hang out around too.Also, fishing lights attracted TONS of fish, if you're into fishing. We aren't but this place would be great for anyone who is. Will definitely come again!

    Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay. The upper deck has a lot of places to sit and eat. The downstairs has a couch , gas fire pit and swing. So comfy - even to watch a rain storm. We fished and crabbed off the back deck area. The kids loved it !!!House was clean and spacious. Good find

    Upon arrival we were greeted with a welcome basket. The house was nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. The communication with the management company was top notch. We did not have any issues. The toilet in the bathroom at the end of the hallway needs to be reset as it emits a sewer smell. We opened the window during our stay to help air it out. There were lots of extra curriculars to use: paddle board, kayak, firepit, swing, hot tub. I felt secure letting my 2 year old run around with the security of the fences/gates. I will absolutely rent this house again as long as its available. The management company was excellent to work with. I will always look for houses they host first. Thank you 979 for a memorable vacation and a nice homey place to stay.

    We had the best time at this precious spot on the bay. Easy beach access and a great dock to fish off of. Finding a place that lets us bring our pups is always hard and this was just perfect - fun for the whole family. An added bonus was the Marina! What a hidden gem. We can't wait to return!

    Lovely spot in Sea Isle. Far enough West that the beaches aren't excessively crowded, but not so far that the rest of Galveston is a long drive to get to. Very clean place with great atmosphere and lots of comfy spots to lounge around on the deck and below. The outdoor shower was very convenient and the hot tub is very roomy. We also really appreciated the number of gates there were, and the doggie treat that was in the welcome basket! Our dog really enjoyed her stay. Honestly, I really have no complaints about the place at all. I will certainly keep this place in mind for my next Galveston trip.

    My husband and I were here to relax and it was perfect. Plenty of room. Everything is clean. West End Marina has great food. Pariah’s Coffee House is not too far and makes great lattes and pastries. I will recommend this rental to all!
