Stayed Jul 15, 2022This was such a perfect getaway. The backyard was our favorite part of the property, with the outdoor bathtub as well as multiple areas to lounge. The owner was very sweet and communicative, and it's so close to the national park (mind you the park is big, so it's still a drive to get to some trails, but we were pretty close) and we were still central to nearby to eat and shop at. Overall, such a great place to stay at!

Stayed Jun 23, 2022This house was perfect! The host truly thought of everything. We loved the decor and the backyard desert oasis! The house has 2 bedrooms and 2 sleeper sofas, so our family of 5 slept comfortably. It is in the middle of a nice neighborhood but also felt private. It is a quick drive to JTNP. Since we were there in June, we did sunrise/sunset hikes and happily lounged around at the house during the heat of the day. I didn’t know what a swamp cooler would be like, but it actually worked great and kept the house very cool. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Feb 24, 2025My daughter and I stayed a couple nights when visiting Joshue Park. The location is close to the entrance to the park for hiking and stargazing. The house has a very upbeat and colorful vibe. Clean and comfortable.

Stayed Dec 30, 2024We enjoyed our stay at Rockview. We were right next to amenities in the town of Joshua Tree and just a few miles from the entrance to the park. The house was perfect as a place to rest and relax after a day of travel or hiking. The backyard tub was a hit!

Stayed Nov 22, 2024Super charming home with everything you need. Close to Joshua Tree Park and walking distance to town. Loved the gas stove on colder evenings and great light in the living room in the morning. Will stay here again.

Stayed Oct 11, 2024The house is cozy, organized, and a super pleasant home base. The location is great for easy access to Joshua Tree west entrance (or go down to 29 Palms if crowded). Had a fabulous time hiking early, then returning to nap in the tasteful backyard. Returned for more JTNP, then BBQ carne asada in the backyard. Great kitchen btw. I’m sure to return. Host is on top of her game.

Stayed May 17, 2024We had an awesome time at this beautiful house. It felt more spacious than we expected. The fenced-in backyard was perfect for lounging and to give our dog some room to roam! The host was super welcoming and responsive. All of our questions were answered promptly and we felt comfortable knowing she was available. I highly recommend this property for visits to Joshua Tree. The location was perfect and everything you’d be interested in doing is in close proximity.
