The location cannot be beat! A block to the main drag, but still quiet despite its proximity. The space was just as described. I mentioned we were having a belated anniversary, and there was an anniversary card waiting for us, which was so sweet and above and beyond. The space was comfortable and we really appreciated the available coffee supplies and cold bottled water in the refrigerator. The other reviews about the bathroom/curtain/kitchen set up is something people should take into consideration. You are right there. That said, there are French doors that can be closed from that space to the bedroom for privacy, but I wouldn’t want food out while going to the bathroom with that little of a barrier. I know the issue for the host is the historical nature of the building, but if possible, I think even a little pocket door would work wonders. As for the feedback about the shower, I don’t think it was nearly as small as other people made it out to be. We aren’t small people and it was perfectly sufficient. We would definitely come stay again!

We had a fabulous stay during lobster fest. The space was clean. Exactly what we needed for a two night stay. Walking distance to the Main Street. Easy check in. Would absolutely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay and would rebook in the future. The only negative was that the portable a/c unit is very loud and the fan makes a clicking sounds.

We loved being able to walk to everything Rockland has to offer. The bed was super comfy and we used the kitchen area for coffee and snacks.

Loved our time staying at Cecelia’s property. Rockport is a great town. The only thing we would improve is the shower but we loved everything else.

We a great stay here. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen had every thing except a hob. It had a large fridge, microwave, toaster & Coffee maker. The room was a good size. The house was old and nice. Parking was off the road. Cecelia was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The location was great. It was 2 minutes walk to the Main Street with restaurants, taverns, bars, bakery and museum’s.

My husband and I had a wedding to attend in So. Thomaston so I booked this VRBO and made a long weekend out of it. Ideal location within walking distance to all that Rockland has to offer. Plenty of restaurants and shopping and only a short drive to Camden, Rockport and So.Thomaston. Comfortable, clean and relaxing.

This property was perfect for our needs. The place was comfortable, albeit it had a very small bathroom with no dedicated bathroom sink. Our host was friendly. The location was excellent with easy access to the high street. Would stay here again!

Amazing location, you can walk to Main St in seconds. Overall great place. I would note that the bathroom has a curtain in place of a door, so make sure you are on pretty close terms with whoever you are staying here with.

I had a very comfortable stay and the house is full of charm. The bed was also very comfortable the only thing i was there was a few more hangers in the closet but that is just because I hang everything up when I unpack. I really apricated having waters ready in the fridge for guests since it was really hot when I visited Maine.
