The house was spotless and well located to restaurants and museums in downtown. The deck is great for gathering. Jimmy, the property manager, was responsive and very easy and pleasant to work with. And coastal Maine is beautiful!
Loved this home. Beautifully renovated, well appointed, and a great location. The deck is a great place to relax.
The Rockland home was spotless and we were welcomed with a note and flowers from the host and hostess. The refrigerator was stocked with drinks that the we had requested. The host was available to answer any questions and provided us with information about restaurants and places to visit. The house is located within walking distance to the harbor and town. I highly recomend a vist to Rockland and this welcoming home.
The house is immaculate. Grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. Easy walking distance to downtown, harbour and all amenities. There are stairs, which we are used to, but I mention it as some may have mobility issues. The house is 19th century, and it’s bones reflect this. It has been updated with modern touches, without destroying its essential character.
The Rockland home was spotless. We were greated with a welcome note and flowers. The host and hostess were available to answer questions. The home is within walking distance to the harbor and town, I highly reccomend a visit to Rockland and this location.
Although the location of this home was ideal to downtown, wharf, and restaurants, it’s in a very busy street which is noticeable when in the home. We tried to sleep with the windows open but the traffic was too loud so we had to resort to putting on the AC which was not ideal. The large trees that shield the front of the house also don’t allow light in the front of the house causing it to be dark and uninviting. I think the owners should be upfront in the description of the home. With that said, the home was comfortable and the few requests that we had during our stay were responded to quickly. Great places to bike and walk to restaurants, downtown, wharf and museums.
Wonderful spot to walk and bike in the area. Jimmy was very responsive to our request s. The noise traffic is noticeable.
The home had all amenities necessary for a Maine vacation! Even had a power burner and pots. Very clean home, great porch, great yard and just as described. We had a great time walking to local establishments and the short drive to major attractions. Thank you!
