We have been welcoming guests to the Jackson House as a B&B since 1995, so we have a lot of experience making sure you have a wonderful stay!

Enjoy the feel of another era with the modern conveniences of today. A beautiful Victorian house with an inviting front porch that overlooks our lush gardens. The house was built in 1894 but has been updated with modern, luxury amenities. All bedrooms have a gas fireplace and a private marble bathroom. The 3 downstairs bedrooms all have adouble whirlpool tub in their private bath. There is a beautiful garden in the rear with a patio and a conservatory building housing a spa-pool. The conservatory has large antique stained glass windows on all 4 sides. Walk around the corner and past 4 houses and you are on the Riverwalk in Downtown San Antonio. All downtown attractions, including the Alamo, are within easy walking distance. You have the entire house to yourselves with no shared spaces.

An old home with antique furniture. Very nice size kitchen and dining room. The pool is small and can be heated for 25/day additional charge on top of the 1250/day charge. The fees, etc, are 2/3 the listed rental charge, which I find excessive. But the location is convenient to many restaurants and hemisphere area. We enjoyed our visit.

The A/C went out at the house the door before we were suppose to arrive. Owner called me and let me know and moved us to another location that would fit our group. Luckily it was still close by and the house was beautiful. Grateful they took the time to find us another place and didn’t just cancel us because most places were already booked up.

Loved walking to both river walk and market from this house. Owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Property was just as described, beautiful old furniture and art.

We came for a memorial service. Wanted a place close to river walk with room for us to sit back, relax & visit. Host was very accommodating

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Jackson House. The location was perfect for our group of two families with small children--close enough to walk to the Riverwalk yet far enough away to avoid the crowds. The King Williams neighborhood is just lovely with plenty of dining options nearby. The home's updates are era-appropriate and you can tell that it was an absolute gem in its heyday. A few notes for future travelers: one trash bag and dishwasher pod are provided as starters so bring extra if you plan on staying any more than a couple of days. While washer and dryer are listed as amenities, access is not typically available for STR stays. (We have little ones so it's always a factor in our bookings.)

This home was a fantastic find! The property is just as pictured. Very clean and spacious. It is a darling old victorian home. We loved the attention to detail the hosts kept keeping the old-world charm. We walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner and, in the morning, had coffee on the front porch after great morning walks in the lovely neighborhood. It brought back great memories. Don was very responsive and replied to my questions within minutes. I wholeheartedly recommend The Jackson House.

The location was perfect for our visit as we walked almost everywhere. In addition, renting the entire home gave everyone their own bedroom, bathroom, and parking. The only thing that I could say would be that it would have been nice to have the pool heated without the extra fee as we actually would have used it.

Nice property, but plumbing and pool equipment didn’t work. Customer service communication was a bit abrupt and coarse.

This was a beautiful house, would definitely stay again. There is so much history and character to this house and the surrounding area, which made it so much more interesting to stay in than a modern house. Everything was great with our stay; host was nice, location was great, house was beautiful, etc.
