Riverside Cottage - 2 Kings - Near River

Comfortable beds, clean cozy house, located on busy street with street noise.

The house was in a good location and very clean. Be prepared for some street noise if you have little ones for naps or night time sleep. We used a combination of the floor fan stored in the primary bedroom’s closet and sound machines which did the trick.Having a high chair and toys available were an added plus. Alex was also very responsive and overall we enjoyed our stay.

The house was so loud and squeaky that we heard each other walking constantly. No grab bar in the showers if we were to lose our balance. The stove was not plugged in (I brought cookies to bake). I was sent an email on 5/11/25, but didn't see it until we got home. Neighbors next door are only 6' away on both sides. Waiting for the outside temperature to lower (it was 86 degrees that day) so we could enjoy a HOT tub didn't work when you have to be out of it by 10:00pm. Don't be outside after 10pm because the neighbors can hear you. Too many rules. I've stayed in lots of vacation rentals and never had this many rules. We left the morning of our last day (5/15). There was a small burn on a bathroom sink, and the stove had something on the right front burner, but we didn't do it.

We enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were comfortable. The back porch was not ready for guests. The street is quite busy and sometimes noisy. Good for the price of our 3 day stay.

This VRBO was spotlessly clean! Nice neighborhood. There was some street noise which bothered light sleepers in the group, but I slept well!!! Sleeping downstairs in the large bedroom would always be an option for light sleepers.

This is a very clean well kept VRBO. It is on a busy street but that did not affect any of my party. Appreciated the clean smell, very nice backyard and comfortable beds! Will stay again!

This house was SO beautiful I loved everything about it! Some of my guests were worried about the only bathroom being in the bedroom, but it did not end up being an issue! We had a couple people decide they weren’t staying so we had more than enough space for everyone to chill. Our host Alex was amazing about communicating important details to know such as WiFi and extra parking! We forgot to bring toiletries but shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all provided for us in the gorgeous bathroom. We overall had a lovely stay and we’d love to stay again!

Alex was so easy to communicate with and that made a huge difference for me after my last experience with a renter. The house was huge and clean. We had more space than we new what to do with. The downstairs bedroom felt like we were in a private apartment. Everything that you could have needed was provided. It was located so close to a lot of the places we planned on visiting. The neighbors were very sweet people and I enjoyed meeting them. The listing does advise the house sits on a high traffic street and I love that they provided white noise machines by the bedside of each bed. I didn't think the noise was bad at all though. The only negative I guess I would say is the bathroom, there was only one and it was in the main bedroom. But that only matters if you are going to have more than two people staying at the residence. If they added a bathroom downstairs that would be awesome. The house has so much character to it and it was pleasant just to spend time at the house. Worth another stay for sure.

This quaint property was exactly as the host described it. The pictures are spot on. Such a lovely space. The rooms were spacious. Big beds and wonderful linens. Drive-way was tight but no problems backing out into the busy street. Alex, the host, was attentive and easily accessible. Would definitely recommend this home!

Really appreciate the cleanliness and location of this property. It was a hectic weekend for us. We rented for the purpose of how close it was to Botanica for our son to stay the night before his Wedding. He and his groomsmen were able to all get ready there then had a quick drive to the venue. It all worked out perfect!
