This little country cottage is SO cute. We loved all the details. It was quiet and peaceful. The river is across the street, and we wished there was better access to get down to it. They enjoyed the animals from the farm behind the property.

We loved our stay! The rooms were well appointed and the bed was comfy, and the location is extremely convenient to amazing local areas like Oskar Blues, Ecusta, downtown Brevard, and natural recreation areas like Looking Glass Falls, Dupont, Pisgah Forest, etc.

The house was very comfortable and cozy. Perfect for the area and visiting family easy access to everything around. We enjoyed our stay very much

Pearly and Lois is so wonderful, I almost want to keep this location secret! Opening the door is a step back in time (but with modern amenities). Connie's eye for decor is on par with Country Living or Better Homes and Gardens magazines. The kitchen was fully equipped with fridge (vintage look, and smaller than a full size fridge, but plenty of room for all your food needs). Microwave has air fryer capabilities. Two kinds of coffee makers (drip and k-cup). Beds and pillows were comfortable. Shed outback was a favorite for our kids to hang out, read, or play games in. Front porch is lovely in the evening while watching the sun set.We hiked in Pisgah National Forest (just down the road!) every day, and there is more exploring to be done, and more parks nearby.Shopping, antiques, and thrifting is also hot in Brevard. Connie is a wonderful and courteous host. We are blessed to have spent time in her rental.Stay at Pearly and Lois (except when we want to return); you will fully enjoy your vacation!

You can tell from the photos the house is adorable and the decor is so sweet but somehow it’s even cuter in person. Sometimes with smaller homes on Vrbo the living room furniture is not comfy or the linens are cheap but literally everything here was luxurious and comfortable. Do yourself a favor and make time to sit on the front porch - we saw a bald eagle fishing and a great blue heron defending her nest. Oh and it’s five minutes from town!

This cozy bungalow was a true delight! It has a functional layout and is thoughtfully decorated. When we weren't exploring downtown Brevard, DuPont State Forest, and Pisgah National Forest, we were playing board games, reading, and just chatting in the calm ambiance of Pearly & Lois. Highly recommend for a couple or maybe a family of four.

We had the perfect, most relaxing weekend getaway to Pearly & Lois. Very convenient to downtown Brevard, grocery stores, and of course the Davidson river right across the street! We had everything we needed to cook and did not have to leave the cottage til checkout. We loved the vintage kitchen and raved about the farmhouse decor all throughout. We will definitely be back for another Girls Weekend.

The kitchen was perfect for a week long stay. It had all the tools and dishes we needed. We cooked plenty. It was very easy to use everything. The home decor was chosen with such an expert eye - it was clean, and so fitting for the area. It felt cozy and not overdone. We found the home so easy to stay in and would definitely come back again. This is the most comfortable Vrbo I’ve ever stayed in!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was clean and comfortable. Even though they have neighbors, you would not know it. Quaint, quiet home and neighborhood. The location was perfect as well. When we go back we hope we can stay here again at their cottage.

It was a beautiful, authentic, cozy little cottage! It was clean and had everything we could possibly need. It was well organized and everything was labeled. The only downfall was one of the beds was squeaky which made it difficult for the person sleeping in the same room to sleep.

It was a peaceful stay here and loved the outdoor area. The house is lovely and has everything you need.

The property is located in the perfect place for Brevard dining and activities. The inside is very clean and the host provided all the essentials for the stay. Clear and direct instructions for check in and check out. Since it was me and a friend staying we opted to sleep in the room with two beds. Unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable and very noisy when you tossed or turned. As females we felt safer in the room together than in the room with the single bed by the road. The charm of the home is very complimentary to the mountains. I would stay again but I would be better prepared by bringing a few extra blankets and possibly my own pillows. Nothing wrong with the location or quality of stay.

Awesome moutain getaway. The weather was perfect and the Pearly & Lois was just as perfect. This adorable home is on a quiet street with a river across the street (wish you could see more of the river from the house, but you can hear it). The house is so full of character with all the little details, from the horses in the back, the outside seating area, exposed rafters throughout the house, vintage furnishings, all the things. We could not have picked a better place!

Had a great stay at the Riverside Bungalow. The house is beautiful with a rustic charm and well stocked. Everything I needed. The host was very helpful and even got the place ready on very short notice as I was coming into town. 4 minutes from the entrance to the Pisgah National Forrest and across the street from the Davidson River on a quiet street. Everything I needed for a short but relaxing stay.

House was neat clean comfortable for 2 adults. Pictures and Pictures and Matched perfectly with the house.

Check-in was easy. The house was very clean, cozy and well organized. The location was close to area attractions and shopping (Brevard, Hendersonville and the Pisgah Forest) The host went above and beyond by providing everything that you could need during your stay. The outdoor area was a nice place to sit and relax. Everything about the house made our trip a pleasant experience.

Wonderful, cute bungalow, across from the North Davidson River. Only a few miles to downtown and a short distance to the entrance to Pisgah National Park. We plan to go back in about 5 weeks for a birthday weekend!

Cool little renovated farm house. Super clean, host were awesome. The house is exactly as pocture and has everything u need.Two things to consider. Location isnt great. Not super scenic but convenient. Queen bed is really soft. Its new.memory foam but super soft.

Pearly & Lois is as precious IRL as it appears in the listing. Connie is a wonderful, responsive and accommodating host, and her family's home was a perfect weekend getaway. It's charming, cozy and the setting is idyllic. I hope to stay again on my next trip to Brevard.

My husband and I stayed in this adorable Bungalow for a week in May. It’s beautifully decorated. I loved seeing the horses behind the house and listening to people fish across the street. The owner is wonderful and definitely made sure you have all the basics that you could need in the house. We will definitely be coming back.

Loved the open wood frame work house & vaulted ceilings. River is across the road, pasture with horses is behind the house. Nice 2 bedrooms & 2 baths with spacious kitchen, dining & living areas. Everything was super clean & the host replied quickly to any questions. The farmhouse decorations & fixtures are quaint & welcoming. Location is close to the national forest & town. This was a lovely place to stay - everything we needed was available, the place was immaculately maintained, the host even communicated to warn us about ice on the roads in case we weren't familiar with the driving conditions. We felt well cared for!

This is our second year staying in this cute little cottage. It has all the comforts of home. The space is beautiful. There’s a little nook outside that you can sit and read your Bible or have your coffee while watching the horses play in the meadow next-door. Connie is very quick to answer any questions or to be there for any help you may need
