Stayed Sep 26, 202510 out of 10!!!!! Such a Beautiful Rental inside and out & Property!! We had such a wonderful, peaceful weekend at the River House!! All you need to bring is your clothes and food, Jen has the cottage filled with everything and anything you could possibly need!! Had so much fun fishing too! Caught 3 fish on one cast on a double hook lol Jen is an Amazing host too!! And the beds and bedding are so COMFY!!! Just a Beautiful home!! We can’t wait to go back very soon!!

Stayed Jul 11, 2025The home was amazing and had everything plus more that you could need. The decor is beachy and looks like it could be featured in a magazine. The beds & pillows were so comfortable. The kitchen has everything needed to cook for a big family. Having two living rooms was a bonus. We had our four teenagers with us & they had a blast. The kids fished, kayaked, went swimming, rode bikes to get ice-cream and played with the backyard games. They did lots of swimming in the river & Lake Huron is a short walk with an amazing beach. The owners are awesome and very accommodating! We Highly recommend for families. It was an amazing and relaxing vacation!

Stayed Jul 3, 2025We come to Oscoda every 4th of July to see family and struggled to find a rental to fit our needs. Jerry and Jen were the best hosts! They had plenty of supplies, games, entertainment and the rooms were so welcoming and comfortable! The Maui pad was such a bonus! We will be back next year!

Stayed May 22, 2025Fantastic getaway. We didn't have the greatest weather, but the River house is so cozy and cheerful that it more than made up for it. We were able to get some hiking, fishing and kayaking in. They are great hosts.
