Stayed May 24, 2024Compact but spacious property on a quiet and affluent street: can sleep many comfortably and feed them well. We easily cooked for 10 on stove and barbecue. There's no coffee grinder (doesn't claim to have one but that was a problem for me - I brought beans). An issue with the alarm system was solved quickly; but I had to go across the road for AT&T cell signal to report and solve. Once I was signed into the WiFi there were no phone issues. I would suggest providing the WiFi password in the move-in instructions for this reason. We would choose this property again for a large group. Thanks Julie for your prompt attention to the issues; we all enjoyed our stay, you are lucky to have found this property. Truly iconic ;)

Stayed Jul 2, 2021Great home base for a few days on the Kern. Located very close to downtown this house made the commute to rafting very easy. House was set up perfect to relax and enjoy the area.

Stayed May 27, 2021We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the River Rock Retreat. The place was clean, well appointed and equipped and very conveniently located. We loved the vinyl record collection, the vintage player piano, as well as the great assortment of games like shuffleboard, ping pong and corn hole. We can’t wait to book our next stay.
