The host was really good at communicating, the lodge was very clean lovely setting. Location on the river took about 40 minutes to walk into Stratford.

Yes - didnt do much cooking but everything we needed was there. Only thing very difficult opening key safe - not able to find info for central heating and electric fire in living area . Was very cold and wet when we arrived.

I cannot come up with a single negative, it was spacious, spotlessly clean and so well equipped. The location was perfect, great views, next to a riverside walk for the dog and 5 min walk to the restaurant and bar.

Amazing lodge, beautiful inside and out. Lots of room in living and dining area. Loved being greeted by the swans every morning and tea time. Will definitely be coming back.Thank you

Lovey little property, amazing location right on the river. Plenty to do, fishing, paddle boarding. The riverside venue really nice too for drink/food. 1 mile into the town centre. Would definitely return.

Lovely property in an excellent location right by the river. Stella was a very good host who responded quickly when we had questions and dealt with an issue quickly during our stay. Three of us stayed at the lodge and we felt that we had plenty of space and the sunny outside space overlooking the river was beautiful. Being half term we thought it might be busier but the whole site seemed quiet and well maintained. Comfy beds and plenty of hot water for showers.We felt there were a few minor issues in the lodge that needed some attention but this didn't stop us from having a fabulous mid week break. Highly recommended.

We spent a weekend here as a 3 friends away for a girly weekend.Fantastic location right by the river and the lodge was very clean and comfortable.We took the water taxi into Stratford which was lovely and then walked back which only took about half an hour.The host was very communicative and we would not hesitate to stay here again.Thoroughly recommended!

Beautifully furnished and clean accommodation. Very comfortable stay. Location excellent - overlooking the River Avon, short distance from the city of Stratford upon Avon but has a country feel.

We booked for a little get together for 5 ladies to celebrate an 80th. Fabulous location, easy to get to and really lovely accommodation. All beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed. The kitchen was very well equipped, the showers (2) were great and there was lots of wardrobe space. The whole place was very clean an enough bedding and towels were provided for all. The decking overlooking the river has lots of comfortable chairs and blankets are provided inside to keep the chill off. The swans and ducks came over to say hello which was fabulous. The clubhouse is just over the bridge is very nice and the food is lovely. We walked into Stratford, this took roughly 20-25 mins and the route is very flat. Stella as a host, kept in touch and communicated very well with us. I would highly recommend Stella’s lovely lodge.

Our stay was lovely in this very cosy home! It was exactly as described, inclusive of a wonderfully warm welcome by the resident swans, Canadian geese and ducks who are all very social and readily enjoyed the swan and duck food we had picked up from the local garden store! Stella was a fantastic host, who reached out to me both on email and mobile before our stay and was so quick to respond to any questions we had. The home Is right on the river and the clubhouse has many restaurants and activities for kids including a mini golf, small playground and many other activities. Water taxis are available straight into Stratford town center for only £2/person, and it’s only a 5-10 minute walk from there to any of the local attractions including Shakespeare museums and the butterfly gardens. We would highly recommend this property!
