Stayed May 21, 2026Rio Royale is a nice location to stay with moderate privacy and comfortable housing and sleeping arrangements. It should be clearly understood that this is not a river front property and it is separated from the riverside resort depicted in the map location, it's about a 10 minute drive to the river access at the resort. The VRBO Explore the area map and description reference the Frio Country Resort and are inaccurate for the Rio Royale unit which is in the hills on Mariposa a mile or so north of 348. Besides location, the property is as advertised and a was a nice stay.
