House was amazing! So well designed and decorated! We loved it!!

This place was such a retreat of beauty and we couldn’t have asked for anything more!! Grandkids and kids loved the property and spent most of time exploring! House itself it beautiful

This house is amazing. SO BEAUTIFUL inside, the decorations are amazing. The kitchen is very well stocked (bring oils and spices though). There are 2 fridges and even a separate drink drawer in the bar area. The air conditioning kept up. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The rooms are nice and spacey and quiet. Lots of deer all through out the day. Be sure to have closed toe shoes on outside, we saw a tarantula and lots of little scorpions (outside!).

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The serene atmosphere, abundant wildlife, and well-equipped kitchen made our experience truly enjoyable. Plus, there’s a Keurig in the pantry for coffee lovers. However, we encountered a couple of challenges. The guest house lacked A/C on the first day and night, which was uncomfortable given the heat. Thankfully, it was fixed by late morning on Friday, but it took the entire day to cool down. Our friends still managed to sleep there that night, though. Regarding the river, the pictures can be deceiving. Despite recent rain across Texas, the water level was surprisingly low, and the river was quite warm. Keep this in mind if you’re expecting a water-centric experience. The only other access to the river near the house is private property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it’s essential to set realistic expectations. ?

We loved this home - beautiful design, fully stocked. Daily sightings of deer, foxes and birds. Comfortable beds, spacious and peaceful. We would book again!

We had a great time. It was a lovely place.

Property was lovely, however the water supply for the guest house above the garage was black and smelled terrible upon arrival. We had to call to get help and also realized there was a water leak under the guest house sink. This was all a big disappointment to spend the first hours dealing with this issue instead of welcoming family and getting ready for our wedding event. The large house did not seem to have the same issue and was very lovely. Since we had 5 people in the guest house, the water issue was very inconvenient and our guests did not feel comfortable drinking the water. Hopefully these issues can be solved so future guests aren’t welcomed by these issues.

Celebrated my 70th Birthday in this beautiful house and surroundings with dear friends. Total perfection! None of us wanted to leave. House is magazine worthy and so well stocked. I just can’t say enough about this fabulous place.

Perfect property for size and ages of our family with ages ranging from 4-78. Grandparents, parents, and grandchildren. House was comfortable with space for all. Amazing gourmet kitchen for cooking Christmas dinner. Younger children loved the property - near the River and the abundant wildlife.
