Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying in the Ridgecrest Retreat. We love the location -- high on a ridge overlooking the town and with easy access to the beach and the Fiscalini -- and the house itself, which is light and airy and comfortable. We did have an issue that the hairdryer provided in the master bathroom blew a fuse and we did not have access to the box, but a call to Scenic Coast fixed the situation very quickly. We love the house and we will be back!

The home was absolutely beautiful with nice upgraded features, furnishings, and amenities. It had everything we needed for our family of 5. There are multiple decks each with a unique view of Cambria. The home sits high on Park Hill on a corner lot which allows for amazing views. The home is a tri-level floorplan with the primary bedroom upstairs, the main floor on the entry level, and 2 bedrooms on the bottom floor. The main floor is an open great room with a well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed. The property description was not only accurate but better than we expected. The home was clean and well maintained. The only slight issue we had was the lack of space for parking (since we came in our mini-van with a bike rack attached), but were able to park sideways in the driveway. It wasn't a negative but something to consider if traveling in multiple vehicles.The property management company is local so it was easy to communicate with them with our requests and they provided great customer service. The home is close to Moonstone Beach, Shamel Park, Fisalini Ranch Reserve, and Main Street in Cambria. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Cambria. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying at this home again in the future.:)

The village is a short drive away.

A health issue prevented me from posting a review sooner. All six of us enjoyed the house very much. It was clean and we had a nice views. I loved our master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. One of our other couples had a great room also. The 2nd bathroom was liked by our guests. The only improvement I would suggest is twin XL twin beds in the 3rd bedroom that adults or children would be comfortable sleeping on. Our third couple fortunately brought a queen size air mattress to sleep on. Thankfully they're good sports and focused on all of us being together.

Beautiful location and clean home. Close to Moonstone Beach and Fiscalini Preserve for morning and afternoon walks. Different views from 3 different decks. Peekaboo ocean view, downtown view and garden views as well as beautiful local tree views from the main room. All kitchen ammentities we needed were provided. Upstairs is a little warmer than the downstairs. Parking is a bit awkward being on a hill with no garage access but doable with one car. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and beautiful.

We loved hanging out on the deck which overlooks lovely Cambria. The other deck has a great view of the ocean in the distance. Very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We love coming to Cambria and will definitely stay here again :)

This home is very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. There is a binder that is a must read. It provides all the info you need to make your stay easy. Also of note, for those concerned about the sleeping arrangements, the couch downstairs does indeed pull out to full size once you open the front of the couch as well. A link to instructions is included in the house binder. Overall, I would definitely recommend this home to others.

Very clean & in a nice neighborhood. Close to beach. Wonderful garden area. Wild turkeys!!
