Stayed May 20, 2024upon arrival we were disappointed by the accommodation. first of all, our arrival had not been expected. In my opinion the cleaning was not done or at least not completely done. There were still things from the previous guests such as ice cream in the freezer and a bar of soap in the shower. the refrigerator was not clean as also the toilet. after a good search we found the 2nd bathroom. house itself was very small, certainly not for 7 people. accommodation is in need of an upgrade. everything is very dated. Only the view was great.

Stayed Jun 6, 2023I had the flight to Madeira canceled due to the heavy rains, I contacted the owner, he said he would cancel the reservation to give me a refund, but he was lying, a week passed, I kept trying to contact him and he blocked me. I do not recommend!

Stayed May 20, 2022Well equipped home in quiet area, stunning view from terrace. Close to Funchal, easy to get to the other parts of the island and only 30min drive from the airport. It's tricky to park at the driveway, but you can get used to it. Access to Levada De Norte within walking distance. I can highly recommend staying at Taxil's house.
