Retreat on Talbot - short walk to shops, pub and beach - Off Peak Special!

Great few days away, house has everything we neededEasy to find, quiet and super clean.

Great location and accommodation

Plenty of space and lots of utensils and games.Could have done with some shade over the outside table and BBQ area. Clean and easy to look after.

Good points – Dog friendly with outside dog bed that our dog loved to crash on. Location was an easy walk from shops and beach. Nice and quiet -there was very little road traffic any time of the day. Lots of room out the front for cars / trailer / boat. The inside was clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The kitchen was well fitted out with appliances, utensils, cutlery, plates, bowls etc. and basic condiments / staples. The TV and air conditioning made the family area a good place to retreat to on the hot afternoons. The circle shaped chair in the family area was a favourite of the younger adults. The backyard was nice in the mornings when the house provided shade.The not so good – Back patio was unusable due to missing shade sail which also made the rear bedroom very hot from afternoon sun. Similarly, no curtain over rear door resulted in a lot of heat coming in and sun glare for anyone at end of dining table with no ability to block out light. The new dual layer curtains in most rooms were appreciated but it did mean that the windows could be opened only a tiny bit before the curtain rails banged on the window frames. Overall – We did enjoy our stay and would stay again, especially if the issues above were addressed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely place. Plenty of space inside and an adequate backyard for our large pooch. The kids all had their own rooms which they loved. The master bed was very comfortable. Short walk to the beach, park and shops. Loved that there is an adequate supermarket local too. Some beaches on that side of the Peninsula are very 'gravelly' but Port Vincent had a nice sandy beach for the most part.

Open, comfortable home. Lots of space. Kids had their own rooms each. Very nice set up. Short walk to the beach and shops. Had a lovely relaxing time
