Stayed Sep 1, 2023Great place especially with littles! Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Has everything we needed and thoughtful extras that made staying there like our home away from home! The lake is close by with beautifully blue waters and soft sandy beaches, we will definitely be back!

Stayed Aug 12, 2025The cottage was excellent; everything was as described. Our Family of 11 enjoyed every part of it. The layout was great; the back deck was nice and the firepit area was wonderful. The location of Higgins Lake was perfect. We rented a Pontoon for two days from B&B very close to the cottage and they were awesome; we also rented a Wave Runner from Go Fast for the 2 days and they we great as well.

Stayed Jul 13, 2025From the moment we stepped out of our vehicles we found the property to be very inviting! The neighborhood is very tranquil and we were greeted by the resident ducks. When we opened the door we were greeted by two baskets full of snacks and sweets. The property handled our range of ages and our number (12) well! With one full bathroom on each floor there were no traffic issues at anytime during the week. And it is a great starting point to step off to other day destinations. We took advantage of both Higgins and Houghton Lakes! Truly a great destination and great host!

Stayed Jul 11, 2025We had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and more linens than we needed for our group of 14. The communal spaces were so inviting—we loved gathering together and truly enjoying the space. All the rooms were cozy, and everyone, from the 10-year-olds to the teens and adults, felt right at home.We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras like board games and additional beds (a rollaway and air mattress), which allowed us to configure the sleeping arrangements to fit our family dynamic. It created a fun, custom space where the cousins could spend more quality time together.Although we didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor area, we were very pleased with how it was set up and could easily see how enjoyable it would have been. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended!
