Amazing places to shop with loads of delicious places for breakfast, lunch & dinner!
~Perfect when you are in town for anything in GSO or surrounding areas.
This is YOUR PERSONAL spot!
There is a $150.00 fee for each individual pet’s stay. When pets stay additional cleaning is necessary. Pets are welcome if on flea medication & house trained. There are 3 back doors to the fenced yard. Please do not allow your dog to scratch these doors if they want back into the house. Be aware of your pet at all times. You must bring your pets bedding, as our beds & furniture are not for pets lounging. Please do not leave your pets unattended while you go into town. They get stressed and scratch our house to pieces. This pet fee is less than a pet sitter & a pet spa. Plus your fur baby can be with you ❤️
Bring your family & enjoy some time together...whether it be during the holidays or a “meet in the middle” location to catch up, be still, & enjoy each other for a bit.
You will feel right at home at this lovely space. The driveway is long & wide which allows at least 3 cars to be parked at any given time. Parking in front of the house & driveway.
There are 4 distinct bedrooms....2 en suite bedrooms both with queen beds located in different sections of the house...2 additional bedrooms with full beds, one in the hallway & the other in the front facing eastern side of the house.... 2 full baths & one 1/2 bath. This house is private if you are searching for a space together but also desire space to yourself.
The sunshine filled kitchen has a delightful feel with a cozy mid century round table. A common area has comfy seating with a nice large smart tv with wifi. The dining room has a beautiful glass table with seating for 8. Throughout the home, you will see photography by a local NY/NC based photographer, artwork & furniture made local.
Note: This home has a washer and dryer for owner use and for those who have a reservation for more than 2 days.
Thank you
This is one our favorite finds in Greensboro. Great location, shopping and restaurants very close. Host is the best!
Had a terrific stay in Greensboro. The house is wonderful and my chow puppy LOVED chasing squirrels and rabbits in the large, fully fenced backyard. The location is perfect - closet to the shops and restaurants in Friendly Center. Morning walks with the pup to Caribou Coffee got the day started off right. You couldn't find a better place to stay in Greensboro.
Had a wonderful weekend celebrating our daughter’s graduation! Staying here made the weekend so much more perfect! Loved the house, the property and the area. Would highly recommend this for your stay!! Thank you Vicki!!
Vikki is an incredible host! We can't wait to come back!
Enjoyed our stay. We stayed over Christmas as we are out-of-town and wanted to spend quality time with multiple family members in a safe place during Covid. The house was very clean and smelled like a spa (with spa music) when we arrived. The house fit our needs beautifully as we had teenagers that stayed in their own “wing” away from the rest of us old folks. Very conveniently located, within walking distance to Friendly Ave shops. Great neighborhood to walk the dogs and felt very safe.
The property was ok. We were on a fact finding mission as we will be moving to Greensboro in the next 12 months. I was looking for a great safe place to rent once a month for 2 weeks a month for the next 12 months. It was Thanksgiving weekend. We rented for 6 days. My concern or frustration was more with the continues emails and texts from the property owner regarding dogs and rules and more rules after we had agreed to all rules upfront. I question if comforters and blankets (including throws in living room) were washed between guest. Linens were scarce and many rules and notes about linens. Many rules and notes throughout the house about common sense situations. No washer and dryer available on site. The HVAC system heats the main living area but doesn't heat the remainder of the house. The hot water heater allowed only 2 hot showers in a 3 hours period. We stayed with 3 grown adults, price was over priced. Outdoors needed cleaned up. We ended up cleaning up dog waste in the backyard from previous renters. We were constantly reminded throughout our stay about keeping dogs off beds, dogs outdoor clean up, leaving the extra dog deposit for the extra $100 fee was a constant reminder, after we had clearly agreed to this. We are very mature, professional, 55+ adults. While we are new to Vrbo, we have collectively rented properties for vacation for 100+ years. Treated like children and the constant reminders during the holiday weekend were a huge turn off. Location is great. Property manager needs to work on communication skills. There was opportunity for me to rent this property for the next 12 months - once a month for 2 weeks a pop. Lost due to the emails and texts about dogs and fees for dogs as I was trying to relax and enjoy the weekend. The straw that broke my back was loading our car on our final day (day 6), and being locked out by the keypad at 10am when checkout was not until 11am. We booked this at last minute and there was not much rental inventory at the time. Value for money and overall stress experience - not for us. All around stressful experience. Not the Zen Cottage advertised. Do not advertise dog friendly and then haunt for the extra dog fee in cash if you are not really interested in your client experience. We are responsible dog owners and grown adults. Location is great.
Perfect home to celebrate with family on Thanksgiving Eve. Plenty of room - inside and out! Close to shops and quiet neighborhood. Loved it and look forward to a return stay!
The house was just what we needed for our group with two dogs! Great location and wonderful fenced in yard for the pups to run around.
Vicki was a great host and truly thought about everything her guests might need! The house is quaint and nestled in a charming neighborhood. You won’t regret staying here for anything that brings you to Greensboro!
