Clean, cozy, nice patio, quiet neighbor. I would recommend it.
The house was so adorable, and clean! A short walk to the beach, and the house came with a wagon, which helped us carry all of our things. They thought of everything!
Nice property in a quiet area close to tunnel park. It’s an older house but remodeled cute beach theme decor. The two main bedrooms are upstairs. Be careful going up and down, the stairs are narrow and steep! The main floor bedroom was two twin beds that we didn’t end up using because the kids were scared to sleep down there by themselves. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. House was clean and well equipped. We saw a few deer passing by in the field past the back yard which was pretty cool.
Nice quiet area. Safe place to be. Easy to go from location to location.
Overall, it is a very sweet property and a few blocks from the lake. It wasn't entirely clean -- the fridge was dirty and the coffee pot had not been cleaned. There is no golf cart on the property. We enjoyed the area, it was nice and quiet and lots of places to walk near by.
I never write a review but I felt the need to let other families know the details of this cottage. I found the cottage more worn then the pictures showed. When we arrived many parts of the cottage were not clean...coffee in the pot, open food in the cabinets, high touch surfaces not cleaned (cabinet knobs, door knobs, faucet) and when the cleaner came back she noted that they have to turn these over fast so they cant clean everything. The yard is beautiful but the cottage itself on the outside is not maintained (spiderwebs, dust, window sills not clean) this may be the reason why we had an infestation of bugs in the cottage (killed at least 10 a day). The stairs are very steep and the baby gate they show in the pictures is no longer there so we had to barricade the top so our kids did not go down at night. I did appreciate the beach wagon and the short walk to the beach but for the price and the cleanliness I would not book this cottage again.
We had a wonderful time at this property. The place was very clean and had a great location close to the beach. It also had a nice backyard and we appreciated the items like the sand buggy we could take to the beach. We would highly recommend this place.
Loved the location and history of the house. Was very clean and well decorated. Really needs a lock on the downstairs bathroom.
We loved our Michigan stay. Many years ago we had lived in Michigan and would go to Tunnel Park, the beach that is in walking distance from this property as well as many other county parks that are wonderful to explore. The property and proximity to beach did not disappoint. We were thrilled the kitchen was well equipped since we were eating in all of our meals. We had three young children under five. Each of the three had their own sleeping space along with two other bedrooms for parents and grandparents. In our opinion, this is a three bedroom property with a den and sleeping space - so five separate sleeping spaces. It worked well for us and the rental company was extremely responsive! We would definitely stay again!
