Resort experience on the West End with stunning sunsets over the Bay

The house is stunningly beautiful with a nice decor. It’s is also peaceful for after a day at the beach or whatever activities that you like to enjoy. Kristen is a great host, and I would definitely would stay in her house again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. This home became part of a holiday memory our family will never forget. It was the perfect backdrop for celebrating together and spending meaningful time as a family. The space was comfortable, well maintained, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, which made the entire experience seamless and stress free. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a special place to create lasting memories, and we would gladly stay again.

The property can fit a large group and is part of a community with many activity options along with indirect beach access. The sunsets views over the bay from the back porch were very popular with the family. We used the beach access close by where we could park our cars right next to us, a helpful perk since we had older grandparents with us. We enjoyed the local community clubhouse and pools for a break from the beach. Host was very thorough, helpful, and checked in mid-stay to ensure we were comfortable. We would definitely consider the property again for a future family vacation.

The Tranquil Turtle is such a beautiful home and perfect gathering place! We have never stayed in such a well stocked home--it had everything we needed and more, including beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, and the six-seater golf cart, Sunny. This home gives the best of both worlds in Galveston. While it sits on the bay with stunning sunset and night sky views from both decks, Sunny the golf cart offers easy access to the beach side in just a short and pleasurable drive. We made wonderful memories playing in the surf and night time walks at the beach. We screamed in laughter when we watched creepy crabs scuttle across our flashlight beam at night, and stood in awed wonder as the moon rose out of the ocean glowing RED! It was surreal! We explored the bay--it is very shallow and walkable for a long way. We caught and released blue crabs and various fish. We saw many varieties of birds, hermit crabs, and fish. We even walked the bay at night for a thrill because it comes alive with all kinds of fish and crabs to net and observe in a bucket with the children. The home is expansive with perfect accommodations for everyone--even roll away beds with very comfortable mattresses. We love the privacy each room offered and the cozy beds. The Cabana house offers a perfect spot for extra privacy. Under the house is perfect for hammocking. Owners were easy to reach and very friendly. Concierge even picked up grocery order and stocked the home before our arrival! Perfection!

Exceptionally large, very clean, updated house. It was large enough to wander around and not get tired of seeing the same people. Private beach-nice. In our 48 years of renting, we've never had a well stocked house like this. I didn't have to bring any kitchen utensils! My only disappointment is that the beautiful deck did not have working electricity. We usually spent a lot of time on the deck but it was just too hot and still. Bikes were a nice added touch.
