Rest A Shore - Stone Harbor NJ

Mary's home is in the perfect location to enjoy all that Stone Harbor has to offer. Easily walkable to the stores and downtown area, and only a block off the beach! The park and recreation center across the streets makes for a quiet environment you and your friends or family can enjoy for a relaxing beach getaway. The home is perfect to host large groups with restrooms for each bedroom, multiple living rooms and even a heated pool. If you are looking to explore Stone Harbor I can't encourage this property enough.

The house was beautiful and in a great area!! Mary was a very attentive host!! We wish we had more time!!!

Beautiful, comfortable and spacious home. Our daughter got married in Stone Harbor and we were able to comfortably accommodate our family. The common areas were stocked with very much all you need to spend a memorable time there. We did not use the pool but it look clean and well kept like the rest of the outside areas. The beach is only a few short blocks away and there is beach gear stored that you can use. Communication with Mary was prompt, professional, helpful and cordial. We’d love to come back and stay at Rest A Shore again.

My family was looking for a single house in Stone Harbor that could house us as we gathered to celebrate the lives of my in-laws (who used to vacation in Stone Harbor). This place checked all of the boxes and provided a wonderful venue for the group of adult children and grandchildren, along with two young great-grandchildren. There is plenty of space to gather both inside and (when the weather cooperates) outside. For individuals who may struggle with stairs, it is possible to either stay on the first floor (small living area) or walk up the stairs once and make the second floor their home. Bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable -- and there are plenty of bathrooms. If you plan to swim and it is early in the season, reach out to the owner - she had the pool company turn on the heater for us. There is no hot tub - despite what the listing might say. The outdoor decks and porches give you the option of sun or shade. It is close to the beach and about a mile from downtown.The owner, Mary, was quick to communicate and great to work with. I highly recommend this home both in and out of beach season in Stone Harbor!

This house had everything we could ask for. The check in/out process was seamless and Mary was very attentive to any questions we had throughout our stay.

This beautiful house is in a perfect location--2 short blocks to the beach; across from the Rec Center, and a few short blocks to downtown. The house really looks like it belongs in a home design magazine. Well appointed, open floor plan, decks/porches/drink fridges/icemaker on every level, refreshing pool and outdoor cabana kitchen/TV and all the beach equipment anyone would need. The owner was helpful and very easy to work with.

The house was beautiful in a great location! It has a great floor plan and is ideal for a couple of families to rent. Would highly recommend!

Such a perfect house to stay at! We had the most wonderful wedding weekend there. The house was very accommodating for my family as my son was getting married at the nearby ICONA Hotel. The owners of this home have thought of every convenience for the renters and they are the nicest people also. We wish them well with this beach house....we would LOVE to rent it again!
