RENOVATED Stars Blue House w/ nice Pool & GameRoom near beach/gravity park/shops

The house was set up perfect for a family with kids. Never without something to do. Plenty of bathroom and showers. Very clean. I would stay again for sure.

The house is adorable and the location is absolutely perfect! Of note, the pool is not heated. Probably not a big deal in the summer months but our stay was a week after the big cold front had moved through. Then, the day after we arrived we had front door lock issues and one of the toilet chains broke. I called the number I found in the guest book and left a message. I never received a call back or even a message. Nothing at all. Then we started noticing the cockroaches. That was nearly cause for us to checked and go elsewhere but it was too late for a refund and we could not pay for two separate accommodations for a week.

It was a great experience, the space was good but because we are all adults and mostly couples it was a little difficult with the rooms because of the room set up better for younger children or people not married.

The house was nice byt the beds were very uncomfortable. There was roaches in the kitchen. Alot of the stuff downstairs in the gameroom was broken or not working. It is a nive place and great location but needs some upgrades and sprayed for bugs.

Property was exactly as described and pictures matched what was on site. Family loved the spacious kitchen and all the amenities to cook several meals. Pool was perfect anf game toom kept the kids vusy gor hours! Would definitely book again.

Exceptional communication from host Javier and his response to any need. Thank you. This house is in a great location and has all the amenities you would want for you South Padre Island stay. The pool for after beach and game room is awesome. In the heart of everything if you want but quiet if you do not. It’s literally a 200 ft walk to the entranceway path to the beach. Would definitely make this house my choice next year. Only note: Because you can’t drive anything on the beach in this area I highly recommend a good beach wheeled hand pull wagon! The path is covered with a canvas but we had a large group and small kids so it was a the only draw back but it’s that way everywhere, believe me we checked.

The property had several things that just made the stay difficult. It was small & everything felt like it was not designed for actual use. Lamp shades had plastic covers on them, no outlets to charge phones in bedrooms, window seals were broken, bathroom downstairs in the basement had the narrowest shower I’ve ever used. It felt pieced together in a really unfriendly user experience. House had a grill but no spatula is one example of how the house just fell flat…or another would be the house has beach toys & boards…and every board was broken….it was a struggle not a relaxed trip. Not to mention the roaches we saw on multiple occasions or the loud neighbors parties. I don’t know, we enjoyed the beach but not the house.

I don’t like to ever leave a negative review but want to inform future guests of what they can expect. Overall the property worked out fine for our trip but there were several things that definitely could have been better. For starters, the main living area of the house smelled overwhelming like mothballs. I inquired of the host and was told they had cleaned the HVAC so we guessed that maybe it was some sort of cleaning chemicals instead but either way it was super strong and hard to overcome. It was so strong you could actually smell it from the driveway before you even walked up but was strongest in the bedrooms but the downstairs game room didn’t smell at all so it was puzzling. My other major complaint about the property was how dirty/uncared for it appeared for advertising it as being “renovated”. There were dirty handprints on the wall, dirty smudges and heavily damaged paint, a toilet with a broken flush chain, and mouse poo in the game room bathroom. The front door was a bit tricky as it required two hands to twist both handles at once. And having different keys to get into the different rooms downstairs was inconvenient but ok. The game room was nice, though we didn’t realize you had to go outside to get to it until we arrived. Overall bedding seemed clean and we had a good stay after a few days when we started getting used to the mothball smell. Great location and potential to be a great house with improvements to the smell and cleanliness and overall care.

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. Would never stay there again during spring break. The neighboring properties partied till wee hours of the night. We had 12 people in the house and there was not enough silverware to go around. Loved the beach supplies, towels and toiletry items. The ceiling fans need to be cleaned! Enjoyed the downstairs entertainment area and the backyard pool area!! All in all though we enjoyed our stay.

The checkin was easy ,Great location .The grandkids loved the game room .The house was very clean and comfortable .

We had a below-average stay because of the cleanliness of the property. The rooms had layers of dust sitting in places. The fans were in really bad condition, so we did not turn them on at all! The kitchen was missing basic stuff like a toaster. However, the bathrooms were relatively neat as well as the game room was good. Overall, an unsatisfactory stay due to the cleanliness.

The house is very nice, could be a lot cleaner. The fan in the room we stayed in is very dirty as is the one in the living room. The alarm is covered in dust.There are roaches. The amenities were great esespecially

Our family had an amazing time at the house. Near to the beach access. Had all home accommodations. The kids loved the game room.

It’s a great location. Just a couple minute walk from the beach. This is our 3rd stay here. There is something for everyone in our family of 10. The kids love the game room & the backyard pool. This place provides everything you could ever need.

We had a great time on our trip!! Disappointed in the house, it looked old and needed more updates. It's to dark on the inside for it to be a beach house, everything needs to be bright and beachy!! The Host was very helpful though and communicated promptly. The owner of property needs to do more updates on the house. Its in a perfect spot and lots of activities to do at the house, but seriously needs updating.Grass in yard needs attention, trampoline needs updating, small pool was not clean but my grandkids enjoyed it, game room was fun and enjoyable and all of the beach toys were a plus!! Over all I give the house a 5 out of 10.

If buildings were not in the way you could see ocean from both the right and left view on the driveway. Wonderful stash of beach supplies, and bikes! Wish the basement and back yard were a little easier to access but overall a great stay!! My 2 year old grandson LOVED the toddler pool in back. The backyard furniture and gate could use a little update.
