Renovated Oceanfront House on Private Beach

The location is fantastic and literally steps to the private beach. The house is quaint and nicely updated. It is very quiet and relaxing to stay here.

Location, location, location. The host was very accessible by phone to assist with small issues we had with the house upon arrival. The household applicances were adequate, but we had difficulty with the coffee maker and luckily brought a French Press. All in all, everything functioned well, and the location and view you cannot beat.

This property was a lucky find for us. It was wonderful and our host was gracious and a good communicator. The house worked out well for our small crew and all had good nights of sleep in their rooms. The screened in porch was popular and was enjoyed many times by folks just watching sunrises or the beach in general. Beach access couldn't be easier or closer. With Middlesex being a private community, it was a special pleasure going to the beach as it was way less crowded than other beaches. We visited Rehoboth Beach on the way home and it was a packed zoo compared to the peacefulness of Middlesex beach. The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed which was handy - we did cook (and grill) several times. A quiet, charming, wonderful beach house. We would come back to this house specifically in the future.

We had such an enjoyable time at the beach and the house was perfect. The owner was very helpful and answered all my questions before our trip. Definitely recommend. We can’t wait to go again.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the house and the porch! Beds, couch and loveseat were comfortable and clean.Kitchen was supplied with good quality items but found it low in number for knives, forks and spoons.I didn’t remember to bring towels & linens… Renato agreement was long ago and I coudn’t find that specification on the VRBO application, which is the easiest way to get to your rental information.Overall, I would recommend this house again!

The house was excellent, nice and clean. Plenty of beds and rooms for our family. The location is perfect, right on the beach. You can’t beat sitting in that back porch listening to the waves rolling in. Greg was great to work with, very responsive. We’ll be back!

this was perfect for our young family… on the beach so easy back and forth with the babes and toddler. we love the screened in porch and there was plenty of living room. Really appreciated the updated kitchen appliances. looking forward to Summer 2025!!

We’ve stayed here 3x and each time have loved our stay. With small children it’s the best access to the beach being right on the path.

Bethany Beach is quieter than many other beach destinations but still a short drive from action Location of property is right next to sand dunes You can see/hear the ocean from the screened deck Comfortable beds Lots of space to spread out and visit This is a smaller older property than many but has numerous renovations and is well maintained There’s some minor issues—driveway is narrow (but we fit a minivan and SUV), a bush juts into the driveway brushing your car Some parts of the house appear to have repairs in process but these are mostly cosmetic (eg on the ceiling what appears to be a new light fixture or something coming) Showers are great (rain type shower head, hot water, good pressure), very nicely equipped kitchen Manager is very responsive and helpful Beach is amazing Numerous restaurants, ice cream, shops within 10 min drive (some within 10 min walk)
