Renovated Home w/ Private Dock on Watauga Lake

We were in town for a friend’s wedding! We chose this location because of the amount of bedrooms/ bathrooms, along with it located right on the lake since we love to fish. The home was very quiet and peaceful! This home had all of the necessities you need for the bathroom and in the kitchen. It was a great home away from home! We will definitely book again in the future.

We had a good time. We really enjoyed the view off the deck.

This place was in the best location. Quiet, close to the water, the only downside was the 111 steps to the water. We got a workout every day and loved every minute of giggling the way back up! We will be back to Watauga Lake for sure!

Wonderful! We have stayed here twice and every time we have an awesome time. Grandkids swim and fish off the dock. We rent a pontoon boat and enjoy all the water activities. We BBQ outside and sit by the fire at night. I highly recommend this rental home!!!

Well furnished, roomy home in a beautiful setting. Kitchen, eating, and gathering place is great for large crowds. The separate bedrooms each having bathroom access is a real plus. The only negative would be the limited access to the lake or upper and lower levels of the house for anyone with mobility issues. We did have to shorten our stay due to winter weather warnings because access to the house could be difficult in bad weather.

We had no idea what to expect having never been to the mountains before, but this place did not disappoint. From the view, to the lovely space, everything was amazing. Just the cutest lake house. Set up made our entire family feel like they had their own space. The views are spectacular. All of the special touches like firewood for smores at night just sent it over the top. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you can think of. We will definitely come back again!

We had a short stay for a wedding. Would definitely go back again. Perfect setup for our family and gorgeous location! Highly recommend this property.

This was a wonderful house for my college friends to spend the week relaxing on the lake. The house is well-appointed. It is in a beautiful area and the dock access to bring our boat was ideal. The things I would change: All of the items in the kitchen were labeled in the cupboards, however, not all of those items still exist in the kitchen. Also, we needed extra blankets and there are no additional linens in the home. The deck supports have noticeably sunk. And the trash and food disposal instructions were contradictory due to recent bear activity. But those were minor inconveniences and we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in this beautiful and spacious lake home for the 4th of July holiday and loved it! It was very clean, has plenty of room for large families and is extremely well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your lake vacation. The grandkids loved swimming off the dock and playing foosball in the game room. We would definitely choose this home again!

This house among the trees with access to a dock was fantastic for our family’s annual spiritual retreat. The water was cool and the floating was refreshing. Great setup for evening s’mores and the house was well stocked with spice basics.
