Stayed Oct 12, 2025Clean rooms. Pet friendly. Well supplied on paper goods and similar. Needs second egress/exit for safety (off the deck would be perfect).

Stayed Jul 9, 2025The kitchen was not well equipped for cooking. The air conditioning was not consistent. Some rooms were cold and one room was warm to the point it made you sweat. The ice maker did not work throughout the stay. We continually had to buy ice. The gas grill did not have utensils to clean it. So, we could not use it! The location was great. The lawn was good for the dog. Overall, it was not worth the money!

Stayed Jul 3, 2025This house is in a perfect location for all activities - biking, hiking, Sliding Rock, shopping, and eating. The large dining table was a plus as all 7 of us could gather to eat and play games.

Stayed Jun 25, 2025Enjoyed our stay there with friends while attending a wedding nearby. Went hiking at Dupont State Forest, went to Looking Glass Falls, ate at good restaurants in nearby town of Brevard, and visited Biltmore Estates. Will be back.

Stayed Nov 22, 2024Our stay at the Barnhouse was wonderful. It’s a unique property in a rural setting that is only minutes from both Brevard and Hendersonville. The floorplan worked great for a birthday party I put together for my girlfriend. The house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It offers a lot of space both inside and outside and has wonderful views from both. There is also plenty of parking space. Heidi, the host, was very sweet and responded to all of my questions quickly. We all felt right at home in this cozy house.

Stayed Jun 20, 2024Great place to stay. This is not a cookie-cutter rental without charm. The view from the deck is incredible.Five college buddies who are now 50 had a great time at this property. Two of us are mountain bikers and rode Dupont and Ride Rock Creek, which are close by, while the others went to play golf and tubing within earshot of the house. We also caught an Asheville Tourists' game. Wonderful weekend getaway. Clean place and great communication with host. No issues.
