Renovated 1891 East End Manor with 4/4.5+2 Parlors

This historic Galveston home is a treasure. We enjoyed stepping back in time, with all the comforts of a modern home. Plenty of space for our family. Kitchen was huge with everything you need. Host was amazing and provided wonderful suggestions for activities and dining. We hope to return! Thank you!!

Beautiful house in a great neighborhood! My extended family stayed here for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The 4 full bathrooms were perfect and the large kitchen worked great for cooking for a group. Enjoyed walking to the Strand and seawall. Would love to stay again!

Our stay here was absolutely perfect, every detail was amazing. We could not be more appreciative of how great the host are! Selecting this place to celebrate our wedding eve before sailing away on our cruise was the best decision!

This was the perfect location to do all the July 4th activities. The home was large enough to accommodate our large family and pets.

Event brought out-of-state family members to Galveston for a long weekend. We wanted to showcase island’s history and this home was the highlight! Best of all worlds: modern kitchen, gathering spaces and baths, in a home that still has its beautiful architectural features. Love the neighborhood, too - walkable and close to charming restaurants. Lovely!

We stayed the night here as a group before boaridng a cruise. The home is beautiful and spacious. The owner communicated well and was responsive. Highly recommend this propery.

We loved our stay here; it was clean, the owner was incredibly helpful and responsive, and we were able to walk to restaurants and the theater. Our extended family loved staying there. We were all comfortable.

Trip was amazing despite the rain and cold weather. House was beautiful and accommodated our large family. Did I mention location? House is so close to several local restaurants and the Strand area. Just perfect!!

This house was immaculate! The beds were comfortable and the layout worked well for two families sharing the space. It’s conveniently located within walking distance to Bishop’s Palace and several popular restaurants in the Strand area. We will definitely star this property and return.

The house itself is charming with nicely renovated finishes and fixtures. It is spacious for a large group. Nice size bed rooms. The beds and pillows are super comfy. Unfortunately, there were a bunch of oak tree and banana tree cockroaches that invaded the kitchen and main living areas without any food around. The main floor bedroom somehow locked itself so one person couldn't get into their bedroom for a few hours as it took a while to get the property managers to call back and help unlock it.

We wanted a home close to everything and this was perfect! We drove into town, parked our cars and walked everywhere-to the beach (to watch the dog surfing competition!) and also walked to the Strand to enjoy a ghost tour, dolphin tour and an adorable coffee shop. The house was lovely-plenty of room, comfy beds and charm. Our party of 6 thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and would recommend!

Our group of 11 just loved your historic home in Galveston that you have updated. It was just perfect for us. We did a little cooking, and ordered in for dinner. We had fun walking to the Strand and enjoyed the history of the house. We greatly appreciate you letting our daughter stay at the house on Wednesday night. The only thing we would suggest is that VRBO change the wording on the parlors. The rooms do not have couches that make out to beds. Our guests were amenable, and actually found the family room couches VERY comfortable. Just something I noticed if people are looking at the website. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your home and all of the beautiful personal touches you have adorned it with.

The historic home is spacious and comfortable with a lot of light. Very well furnished. Close to many restaurants. Great neighborhood for walking. We hope to return.

This house is amazing. It’s a beautiful combination of historic rooms and modern furnishings. There were 10 of us, but there was so much room, we occasionally lost a person. One thing I loved was the huge dining table. We were all able to sit down and have dinner together. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were large. If you have a big group, this is the place to rent. Host is easily accessible and helpful. Would definitely rent again!

This is the cutest house! Beautiful original doors and windows and the decor is perfect. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Off street parking in the alley. Would absolutely stay here again!
