Remodeled, Mountain View Cabin w/ Fireplace, Firepit & WiFi - Dogs Welcome

Cozy little home. Located right next to the Hwy but didn’t notice the traffic noise in the home. Lots of area to park. Contact with management company concerning arrival access and departure was very good. Home was tidy but there was some animal hair throughout.

We loved the cabin; it was very clean and well-stocked; great decor.

Dishwasher was full of dishes at checkin. No closets in house for hanging clothes

This cabin was perfect for our needs. The location was convenient. Every detail was considered. It was just “walk in and make yourself at home” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin.

The cabin was cute,but was extremely small for 3 adults and one 4lb dog. The living area is so tight with very uncomfortable furniture. The bedrooms are tiny with a queen bed that you can barely walk around. The beds were comfortable. Renters need to have some place to unpack and hang up their clothes. A dresser wouldn’t fit so maybe some shelves. No one wants to live out of a suitcase. The stairs/ladder to the loft is dangerous. Hope they have great insurance when someone gets hurt. Another thing that annoyed me was the small black trash bin outside. Trash pickup is only on Monday and you are not allowed to put raw or cooked meat in that trash bin. Also fish guts are not allowed in bin. To dispose of this kind of trash, you have to take it to the Rainbow Grocery and pay $1 for a bathroom size, $2 for a kitchen size and $5 for a large size. I have never had to do this at any other rental. As for any children or dogs to play outside, I wouldn’t feel safe since it is only steps to highway 149. The front yard is mostly rocks with a tiny piece of grass and the back yard is scrub brush that hasn’t been maintained. The housekeeper did a decent job of cleaning, but she never dusted the area under the kitchen sink lights or dusted the blades on the ceiling.

Great cabin. Well stocked. Enjoyed our weekend!

Had a nice time. Wa going back and forth from SouthFork and Creede. Only thing is you are close to main road

Perfect little getaway cabin close to South Fork and within 30 minutes of Wolf Creek Ski Area. Lots of space for our dog to explore, including direct access to a trail. Our only issue was that there were two coffee makers but no pot for either. We made it work, but a carafe would have been ideal. Will stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed this cabin, the beauty of fall in Colorado and the peace and serenity we experienced on this trip. Things couldn’t have been nicer and we were extremely happy. We came to South Fork for our granddaughter’s wedding and fell in love with Colorado, LOL!

Great cabin! Enjoyed it so much

The cabin was great for our little family of 4. It was clean, had everything we needed and was in a relatively quiet location. You get some noise from the road going to Creede but it wasnt bad. The only suggestion I would make to the owner would be to put a non slip mat in the tub. My 3 year old slipped and hit her face on the tub but other then that it was a great stay.
