Located right down the street from the Lewes Historical Society's Complex, this two story home has all of the comforts for your stay. Recently remodeled, the large and open living space feeds into the kitchen and dining area allowing for a gathering for dinner or hanging out working on a puzzle. The screened porch off of the dining area will be your favorite place to lounge with a cup of coffee in the morning. The first floor also has a full bathroom and a bedroom with a daybed and TV.

The second floor features an additional three bedrooms and one full bathroom. A large sundeck, off of the back bedroom, is a great spot to work on your tan.

An easy walk into town for some shopping, dining or ice cream from King's. This home is in the perfect location!

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.

The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.

VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as Owner on VRBO. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked you will be contacted by the management company and sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed. Apart from Damage Protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking.

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in an excellent location within walking distance of Lewes shops and restaurants. The house is clean and comfortable. We had a couple of problems with appliances. The dishwasher was out of order so we had to wash all of our dishes. Most of the time, the dryer made a loud scraping noise when operating although occasionally it didn't. A repair man was called who agreed that both appliances needed repair, but this could not be done during our stay. The owner allows pets which was a necessity for us. Presuming the house has functional appliances, it is a nice place to stay while in Lewes.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is ideally situated so you can walk to town which was perfect for us. The home is a good size. We brought our dog (for an extra fee) and she was very happy. There is plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 kids. Mattresses are not comfortable. Ceiling fans were great as well as the screened in porch. Smoke alarm went off several times. Management came to fix it almost immediately! We like working with Berkshire Hathaway.

The location is perfect for walking, shopping and dining. The only time we used our car was to go to Cape Henlopen. It is also close to the bike trails.

    This is a great property. We spent 9 nights here with our out-of-town family. There were 6 of us total. The neighbors we encountered were wonderful. Being within walking distance of shops and food was great. We love Lloyd's Market. For those with sensitive noses, this property gets 5 our of 5 stars from our family of sensitive noses. Very clean and everyone was comfortable. No strong fragrances in the house. The inside was spotless and very well cared for. Our only issue the entire week was that on arrival (in late April), the furniture and floor of the screened porch were covered with tree pollen. After a bit of clean-up, we were set, but it would have been better if the porch space was cleaned before our stay also.We observed surveyors in the lot next door (April, 2025). Not 100% sure they were preparing for construction. However, It might be worth checking to be sure there will not be active construction during your stay if you are looking for the peace and quiet we enjoyed during our stay.

Area is lovely to walk in, quiet, clean, safe. Easy on street parking. Beach is a brief 1.5 miles away easily reached by car or bike. To get a parking spot arrive by 10 AM but you can drive and jitney folks with ease. Biking is safe and manageable even for seniors like me. Car traffic respects cyclists and the route into Henlopen is very accessible.House has three bedrooms and one bath upstairs. The stairs number 20 so require some effort for the less spry. Kitchen very serviceable with everything you need for a week of cooking. The back porch is screened and very comfortable with two couches and multiple chairs. Quite relaxing and welcoming. So the property worked extremely well for our party of five adults and to two young adults...three generations s.The one consideration to be aware of is that transit to Rehoboth/Dewey is problematic. The traffic on Coastal Highway is honorific unless you go before 9 am or after 7. That’s just the reality for any rental in Lewes. But there is plenty to keep you occupied in Lewes.

    Fantastic location, I did not read the reviews properly and there were no sheets and towels provided, without paying for this service. You had to make beds, strip, beds and empty dishwasher, clean grill, which was dirty when we arrived, I felt like it was a lot of money for the effort. No shampoo or wine glasses, limited utensils and cooking supplies. Lots of Kleenex, limited toliet paper. There were three rolls of TP for 4 bedrooms. Not OK

The house is a stone’s throw to public tennis/basketball courts and walking distance to the farmer’s market. The only downside was that the upstairs tended to warm and the upstairs remote controlled lights/fans seemed to control two rooms at once.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Lewes and have rented with Berkshire Hathaway for several years. This is our second rental of this property. We love the location in town, off street parking, the screened porch, outside shower and garage for bikes, etc. The house was not as clean as it was last year and the furnishings could use a little freshening up. The many ceiling fans were a plus but the remotes were not synched with the fans. The house is in a lovely neighborhood but could use some TLC with the landscaping, adding some perennial flowers. I was also disappointed that my security deposit was not returned promptly. Last year, it was returned within a week of our departure but it is now three weeks later and I have not received my deposit. I would encourage the owner to give a little attention to the property and I would recommend it to other renters who like a 10 minute walk to downtown.
