We chose to stay at this property to have space and room for family. The grandkids and adults as well enjoyed the space and beautiful scenery. The grandkids enjoyed picking the grapes and feeding and petting the horses. The Winery was definitely a bonus for us. We could not have asked for a better place and are ready wanting to return. We even met the Owner, and he gave us a history of the Farm, the Winery and all of the property.
We so enjoyed this pleasant place. The family was so kind and quickly allowed us to check in. It was clean and felt like home. Thank you kindly!
We had a wonderful visit at the Campbell County house. It's located on a small farm with (3) sweet horses. Our grandchildren were able to feed them apples and carrots each morning. The house was beautiful. The owners did a wonderful renovation on it. It was built in 1871 by a 21 year old blacksmith. It's still in the same family today. Beds were comfortable, house was clean. Owners were wonderful to meet. We enjoyed having a wine tasting at their winery, located about 1/4 mile walk from the house. We visited Ark Encounter and Creation Museum while there. Would recommend.
I hosted a small business mastermind for two nights. The home was perfect! Clean, peaceful, well appointed and a wonderful place to creatively collaborate with each other. The weather was perfect, horses in the field behind us, and great walking! We didn’t make it to the winery but definitely will next time!
The property was as advertised, in great condition. My only criticism would’ve been water pressure in the upstairs bathroom And maybe TVs in the bedrooms but that’s being hyper critical. This place was great and I would stay there again!
My friends and I have such a wonderful time at the Walter House! It felt like we were worlds away, although we were only 40 minutes from home. The home and grounds were absolutely beautiful! We loved walking around outside and visiting with the horses. The newly remodeled kitchen was perfect for us to hang out and make dinners together. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were stocked with all of the necessities. We loved visiting all of the local wineries, listening to the live music, having great food, and enjoying the views of the beautiful countryside. We will definitely be back!
