Remodeled farmhouse near downtown with a firepit, central AC & washer/dryer,

It was an OK stay. Lots of bugs in the house. House location was great - within walking distance to the beach. Limited dining and no grocery store within the 10 mile radius. Closest grocery store is in glen arbor

The AC did not work. The property manager came out and tried to fix the issue and the AC only worked for 10 min after the “repair”. It was very hot and stuff especially in the upstairs bedrooms. Location was fine and listing was otherwise accurate, but way over priced for the unit. Would not stay here again.

Great location. House nicely furnished. Vacasa service very responsive. Would rent again.

This was a nice house for the weekend with a fantastic kitchen and bathrooms. Plenty of supplies like towels, sheets and such were provided. The only practical issue was that while you can sleep nine in this house, seven is more reasonable given the setup and style of the beds.

Great location. Kitchen and baths great. Needs a window ac unit upstairs where the bedrooms are. Ground floor was nice and cool upstairs was pretty hot and stuffy. Late July.

Overall a nice option for a good price in Empire. Would stay again.

We had an amazing time and loved that this house was in walking distance of the beach and all our favorite places in Empire. The neighborhood is nice and the neighbors (local) were so friendly. The house was plenty big enough for our family of 6. The kitchen was big but could definitely use some upgrades to the utensils (pan handles all loose, minimal utensils available, light bulbs out, cabinets loose). The beds were not the most comfortable so would suggest a foam pad if needed.

Good location, updated, and enough space for all of us, comfortable beds. However it took two hours to gain access to the property after we arrived at 6:30 and it was very frustrating being left on hold or having calls unanswered. There was nothing to cook meals with. More knives/utensils than I have ever seen in my life but no proper pots or pans, baking sheets, etc. I spent hundreds of unplanned dollars eating out (between higher prices in general and vacation town markups) because we could not cook some of our meals and the pantry was not stocked with basics. Backyard was unkempt, could not use the grill because it was across the yard and we did not want to pick up ticks. Outdoor fire pit not useable and indoor gas fireplace wasn’t working. There was no exercise equipment or room as advertised. There was no first aid kit as advertised. Need to bring your own beach umbrella, chairs, etc. Local property manager was helpful with a broken cabinet door and seemed to genuinely care about making sure everything in the house was as good as it could be.

Clean, comfortable, close to beautiful hikes and beaches.

Family gathering. Looked forward to the indoor and outdoor fireplace. No wood for outdoor and indoor fireplace didn’t work. Called got no response back.
