Remodeled 3BR/2BA Ski Chalet off Tyro Slope

Wonderful place to stay to ski at Wintergreen — a great kitchen for cooking, plenty of space, and heated floors in the bathroom is a nice touch. Close to the slopes.

Nice house and beautiful surroundings. Hot tub was a great plus! Not technically a ski in and ski out but walkable to the slopes. Host responded quickly most of the time. There was some misinformation about the fact sheet kept in the house, and the document provided for check out on the VRBO website and email didn’t load. Overall a great time and would stay there again.

Great house! This was our first time taking our kids skiing and this was a perfect location! Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, the heated floors in the bathroom were a bonus!

Everything was great! Easy booking. Easy to get to. Description was 100% accurate. Easy check out. Cooked meals in a great kitchen. Nice and safe atmosphere there at the cabin. Enjoyed time in the hot tub. And an added bonus, a bird has built a nest in the wreath in the door, she served as our welcoming committee each time we passed by.

Ski Chalet at Wintergreen was exactly as advertised. The location was great, house was well appointed and super clean. Everything you need to enjoy a family ski trip. I would definitely book again.

Cozy cabin close to the slopes

Property was updated nicely and had heated bathroom floors. Across the street from lower tyro slope, so you have to walk across the street and up and down a little hill between houses. Hot tub was nice with a good view of the mountains in winter. My family fully enjoyed ataying here and would stay again.

This was a perfect little spot for the four of us and our furball. Pet friendly places can be hard to find, but this was perfect for us. The location is great for the area, if you know Wintergreen you know all about Blackrock Circle and that side of the resort. In warmer weather it would be walkable to the country store and resort buildings, and the community garbage is conveniently close by without being a nuisance. Hot tub was great, and the wood burning stove was a nice option on the coldest night. Kitchen was well equipped and the main floor great room was very comfortable. There were no window coverings on the upstairs floor, so that felt a little exposed, but there’s not a lot of traffic there generally and the bedrooms are on the lower floor and plenty private, so not a big deal. Maybe something to consider in the future. Host was helpful with the communication and provided the right balance of information and privacy. All in all, this was a great rental, we’ll keep it on our list for future stays up here.

Great location. Close to everything at Wintergreen. Great view from balcony and house. Very clean and modern decor. Very relaxing getaway for my family.
