Had some issues with the lock of door at first but then worked fine for rest of weekend. Could have extra fans and blankets.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming and cozy home in Independence, KS! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The house had everything we needed and truly felt like a home away from home.One of my favorite parts of each day was waking up and sipping my morning tea while enjoying the view of the beautiful horses grazing next door—such a peaceful and special touch!The management was exceptional—friendly, kind, and extremely responsive. When we noticed the electronic door lock batteries were running low, they promptly dropped off a fresh package without hesitation. That kind of attentiveness really goes a long way.The only minor issues we experienced weren’t within anyone’s control—the front door was a bit tricky to open and close due to swelling from heavy recent rains, and we noticed quite a few beetle remains around the house, which actually reassured us that pest control had been handled (and we really appreciated that!).All in all, it was a fantastic stay and we would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!

My family and I stayed for four nights while visiting friends/family in Independence. It was perfect for us. Just the right size for two adults and two five-year-olds (who loved the bunk beds). Convenient location, all of the amenities we needed including a full kitchen with washer/dryer, and a lovely porch/backyard the girls loved running around in. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

We are a very active couple. One of our adult sons traveled with us as well. The house was easy to find and right off a main road. All of the rooms were very spacious. The host responded quickly and was very helpful when we asked. We definitely enjoyed the stay and

Everything was good except for no coffee, coffee maker but no coffee! No Hair Dryer, we had to go buy one. The beds were clean and comfortable. I liked the location. The house was comfortable the whole time.
