Relaxing Colorado Mountain Vacation Home

Stayed June 2018. The home was more than expected! I booked our Delta flight for Colorado Springs Airport which was small and extremely easy to navigate. Once we arrived, I picked up my Avis rental and within minutes was on the road for the short drive to the house. The house is centrally located to numerous activities and sight seeing adventures. We enjoyed our evenings on one of the three outside sitting areas looking at the unbelievable views. I utilized the gas grill to prepare a wonderful meal one evening. On two other evenings we enjoyed excellent meal delivered to the house. We are already planning our next trip to the area, utilizing the home for relaxing evenings. Also, the Property Manager was an email away for any questions. Her prompt responses arrived in minutes.

This is a wonderful rental with an amazing view of the mountains. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook meals. Beds are extremely comfortable. The house was very clean. It also has a unique layout.

Very fun/interesting house. The view was fantastic and the sunrises w/coffee were amazing. Very close to town (3 minutes n drive/15 min walk) and tons to do in the area. Perfect for 3 days. We had a good time. Also appreciated the equipped kitchen. We were able to cook full breakfasts with no issues.

The view and location were great. The host was very communicative with any questions I asked. The only thing that wasn’t a 10/10 was the tiny showers in the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms. It’s definitely not something that would keep us from renting this place again.

The photos do a good job of depicting the space. The property is nice. The whole process was well-organized and communicated. Of course, the view was awesome. Our personal thanks to the hosts for a great stay. I will recommend it to other people.

Perfect location for a relaxing vacation. Great home base to explore Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak. Royal Gorge and of course Manitou Springs.

Beautiful view!! Overlooking Manitou Springs, the Manitou Incline, and Pikes Peak. Close to town but all downhill then uphill without sidewalks all the way. Non-traditional house…really small bathrooms, no central place to relax and watch a movie or a game. We didn’t use the kitchen, so can’t speak to that. Primary bedroom was spacious with sofa, panoramic windows of the mountain range…but bed was a queen Murphy bed. For our purposes, it all worked!

The property met or exceeded our expectations. We would, and likely will, return again on a future visit. The property is unique, but is described accurately.

I cannot begin to describe how breathtaking the mountain view from this property is and how wonderful the house itself is. A short walk down to a Hallmark movie like town. Just book it and get it over with.

We loved our stay! It was a gorgeous view of Manitou Springs and the mountains. While it felt like a little oasis, we appreciated the easy walk to downtown Manitou Springs. There was plenty of space for our group, and we each had our own personal space. Communication with the host was excellent and helpful. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area!

A spectacular view and architecture! plenty of space to spread out. Surrounded by nature yet only blocks away from the center of town. We absolutely loved this place.

We had a wonderful experience! This was the cleanest home we have ever stayed in on VRBO. It was spacious, well equipped and comfortable for 4 adults and 2 teens. The views are absolutely stunning and it was very relaxing the sit on the patio at night and see the town below. The host was wonderful and communicated extremely well. The property is definitely walkable to downtown but be prepared for some steeper slopes on your way back up to the house. We would definitely stay again!

Really stunning property. The upper and lower bedroom/bathroom layout is interesting, as there are very few doors. Worked out fine for girls getaway, but only because we all woke up at the same time. But the views are breathtaking and the proximity to town is very convenient (albeit a steep walk home.) Really enjoyed our stay!

This house is so unique - we loved it! The windows, the landscape, the wildlife - just beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The location was perfect for us, we hiked at Garden of the Gods, and Red Rock Open Space. We loved the downtown area right by the house for dinners and ice cream. Overall just a great experience for my family. Thank you!

Magical location close to everywhere. A nice haven to come back and rest when my daughter had altitude sickness. Clean. Pretty. Safe. Only down side: if you are traveling with kids, make sure they each have their own bag or you will go up and down steep stairs a lot. Only one standard bathroom that you could use to shave your legs in. The other ones are tiny and claustrophobic like a tiny dorm. That was a disappointment. The third floor was very hot. But again, even with these set backs, it is a magical place and I am glad we stayed there. Views from kitchen table playing cards were awesome. I could have been done with visiting that area in two nights only. But we were thankful for the ample space to rest when we dealt with altitude sickness. Host was responsive and kind.

Delivered everything promised...a house with a view. 2 of the 3 bedrooms are partially open to the main living area, which was a bit different, but overall, a comfortable stay.

The photos in the listing are very accurate, but the view of the mountains is far better in person. The home was modern yet cozy for our family of 4, including children ages 5 and 9, to settle in comfortably after long days on our feet. The home and neighborhood felt safe. The driveway entry was narrow and there wasn't direct access from the garage to the interior of the house but it was still very manageable. The host provided adequate info upfront and was responsive when needed. Would highly recommend to friends and family!

Amazing house and location. We walked into town every day - short easy walk. The view was unparalleled and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend this property if you are visiting Manitou Springs. The house had everything we needed and check-in was smooth. If we ever make it back, I would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional property. Location is fabulous and close to shopping and restaurants. The entire homes design is an experience in itself and every room has views of the incline and surrounding mountains. The exterior is great to watch deer passing by and enjoy fresh mountain air. We will absolutely book again in the future!Thank you to the host for the hospitality!

The view is the highlight of the home! There are picture windows on every floor and in every room. We enjoyed the mountains, the deer, the cat, and the close location to everything. The only small thing was the bathrooms. They are tiny and the water pressure leaves much to be desired. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we cannot wait to visit again!

This was our second time renting The View House. The view is breathtaking, the house is beautiful and fun, and the owner thinks of every detail. We walked into the town of Manitou Springs and had great meals and fun evenings listening to live music. We love this place and hope to be back again. Thank you!

What a wonderful weekend - we enjoyed downtown Manitou and loved being close enough to aLao enjoy the Garden of the Gods and the Springs. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy! Views are just spectacular and the details in the home were so cool! Definitely recommend!

This is a lovely home with beautiful mountain views. Kitchen is well stocked. Deer come and visit the patio almost every morning. Great service, very clean, extra paper towels and trash bags available. They even shoveled the snow off of the sidewalks and driveway while we were there. Thanks for a great trip!

Went for Christmas with my husband and kids (3 young adults) and my mom. Beautiful views, really unique and beautiful home. Very well stocked - we had everything we needed to make Christmas dinner. Quiet neighborhood with quick walk to town. The way this house is laid out there is not a lot of privacy because it’s so open but as a family unit worked great.

We celebrated Thanksgiving in this unique property. The views were spectacular with easy access to a walk into town. The beds were comfortable and the unit is well equipped with everything that we needed. The host was easy to work with and very communicative. Can't think of a better way to celebrate the holiday!

The View House speaks for itself. Very clean and cozy home close to all the shopping and great local restaurants. Our family of 5 had plenty of room. The manager and host were very helpful and accommodating. You will not be disappointed!

The photos don't lie. The location and the house itself are stunning. Absolutely gorgeous. The house is well stocked and it made for a wonderful stay. I brought relatives over from England and they loved it. We had a pretty significant snow storm so even though everything was closed, it was wonderful to just kick back and watch out of the large windows - beautiful views and wildlife. The owners are amazing to work with and the property manager is lovely. Close to Cascade and Old Colorado City, very easy to get out and about and of course there is a lot to see and do in Manitou Springs just down the hill. I frequently go through VRBO and this is a 5 star property, one of my favorites and I would definitely return. 100% recommend.

This is our second time staying in this home. It has the most amazing views of Pikes Peak and the mountains. Every bedroom has a lovely view. It has a well stocked kitchen, lovely outdoor patio space, and plenty of living and dinning room space for our whole family. We cant wait to stay here again on our next visit to Colorado.

The VIEW was incredible, and the house is BEAUTIFUL. We had such a great time. This is our second time in Colorado Springs area, and last year we saw Manitou Springs, and loved it. This house was perfect. Short walk into downtown. If you stand in front of the Nut Company you can look up and see the house. So many great things. Only thing is that the room above the garage had a smell to it. Not sure if from the trash below in the garage. Other than that, will definitely stay here again. Communication frm host and property mgr was quick! Thanks again

Unique and memorable property in a great location with incredible views. The house was very clean and in good condition. The design and layout were cool. The location was perfect for access to the marathon start/finish and all the shops. We would seek out this rental again if/when we return.

This amazing house is nestled in a neighborhood on the side of a mountain. Minutes to Garden of the Gods and the Pike peak's cograil. About 20 min to Colorado Springs. Clean, comfy with an outstanding view.

We were in town for our son’s last year Parent’s weekend at USAFA. This was the first time our whole family was all together. The house was amazing, the view was breathtaking- we love to do the Manitou Incline and going to Pike’s Peak and both were in view! We saw many close up deer, hummingbirds and an even a cyote. Walking to town was a nice option, it is a steep incline/descent but less than 10 minutes. Well appointed kitchen, several games to choose from. I have been wanting to book this home for years, and it was very much worth the wait! Would definitely stay again!

This was a beautiful property and laid out perfectly for my husband and I and our adult children. We were close to everything we wanted to see and do in Colorado Springs and Manitou! Unbelievably close to Manitou Incline and Barr Trail. Garden of the Gods extremely close as well. The town of Manitou was very nice as well. No complaints!

We came to visit my brother in Colorado Springs and I’m so happy we decided to stay here. The views were amazing and the house was really cool. The layout was a little different but it was still very nice.

Our stay in this beautiful home was as close to perfect as it could be! Renae was very responsive to our needs. Privacy and relaxation abound here. Early, quiet mornings and crisp evenings spent on the patio gave this home a resort like feel. The view is just spectacular day and night. A short walk down the hill brings you to the unique and charming Manitou Village! Garden of Gods and Pikes Peak Cog Rail were among some of the best sites! The Cheyenne zoo is a friendly zoo where you can pet wallaby’s and feed giraffes! The Penny Arcade was pretty cool for all ages- throwback in time!

We loved the views from the house and our overall stay was amazing. We had a great family vacation and the house was clean, beautiful and unique and easy to check in and out of. A great experience!
