Located in a fantastic position at the northern edge of town, in a quiet beach access culdesac and close to the wharf for hours of water fun for the kids we present our beloved log cabin for you to enjoy as we do.
Being cosy and comfortable, the cabin comprises of a master bedroom with Queen bed, a guest room with two singles, single fold up bed also available for use, we also boast a caravan out the back containing a single bed. There is of course a T.V and DVD incase you forgot to bring

Stayed Dec 5, 2025The host is a great at communicating. The batch is right near the beach and town. The beds are comfortable, the fridge and vacuum are high quality, making it easy to stay and easy to clean. I would stay again.

Stayed Feb 15, 2025Absolutely impressed with the location, nice and close to town and the beach. Lovely and quiet place for a one-night stay. Hosts were quick with communication. We would recommend it to friends and would not hesitate to book again when needing accommodation while in Whangamata.

Stayed Feb 6, 2025This property is very small and as we were there in Summer it was sooooo hot - I had to buy a fan, although the property had two small fans one of them could barely blow out a match. I’m sure this property would suit many people it just wasn’t the one for us - it felt and looked especially in terms of furniture and furnishings including duvets quite grubby and. The people I communicated with seemed lovely and the location was awesome however I wouldn’t stay here again.

Stayed Nov 2, 2024A Kiwi farmer or someone else with no 8 wire mentality built this 1950's bach out of fence posts in the style of an American log cabin. It's cute, cosy and has a large front yard. But best of all it's just a few hundred metres from the beach. We had a great time.

Stayed May 25, 2024Brilliant location close to town and soo close to the beach. We walked straight down to surf the bar. Just a quick weekend. Lots of heaters to keep the log cabin warm. Loved it
